The upper edge region of at least two opposing lateral walls (3, 4) is reinforced by at least one respective profiled reinforcement section (5) attached to the remaining lateral wall (3, 4) in a form-fitting and/or force-fitting manner, and the profiled reinforcement section (5) or each profiled reinforcement section has at least one profiled section web (50) on the section upper face facing away from the container (1), said profiled section web running in the longitudinal direction of the profiled reinforcement section (5) and forming a sliding path (11) for another container (1) to be placed thereon.
