Fluid container with pressure seal
11662021 · 2023-05-30 ·

A container for exchanging fluids using pressurized air has a cylindrical tank with caps and seals at the tank's opposite ends. Grooves in the caps hold the seals, and the caps move between unsealed and sealed arrangements using a tie rod engaging threaded bores in the caps. When sealed, the seals are radially compressed between the flange and the tank's interior sidewall. The tie rod connects to threaded bores at the caps' centers. Rotating the caps relative to the tank axially moves the caps between the sealed and unsealed arrangements. The top cap has a fill port with a threaded plug. A process tube connects to either the outlet port for the fluid when the top cap has the outlet or the inlet port for the pressurized air when the bottom cap has the inlet. A float valve connects to the process tube's end for fluid flowing through the outlet.

CONTAINER WITH DISPLAY FUNCTION

The present invention provides a packaging container for bulk solids, the container comprising a container body and a container lid. The container body includes wall portions that define a container opening. The lid comprises an upper outer lid surface which includes a slanted lid surface. The upper outer lid surface and the slanted lid surface each having a projected surface in the plane of the container opening. The projected surface of the slanted lid surface constitutes from 40% to 100%, 50% to 90%, or 60% to 80% of the projected surface of the upper outer lid surface. The slanted lid surface is slanted such that when the lid is in a closed position at the container opening, a front end edge of the slanted lid surface is located lower in the height direction of the container than a rear end edge of the slanted lid surface.

A container for exchanging a fluid under pressure has a cylindrical tank with caps and seals at opposite ends of the tank. The caps are moved between the unsealed arrangement and the sealed arrangement using a tie rod engaging threaded bores in the caps. Each seal is held in a groove in a flange of each cap which is spaced from a shoulder between the flange and the cap's head. In the sealed arrangement, the seals are radially compressed between the flange and the tank's interior sidewall. With a central tie rod threadedly connected to threaded bores at the center of the caps, rotating the caps relative to the tank axially moves the caps between the sealed arrangement and the unsealed arrangement. The top cap has a fill port with a threaded plug, an inlet port, and an outlet port with a tube extending to the bottom of the tank.

CONTAINER FOR TACTILE INTERACTION WITH FOOD

Pet owners cannot tactilely examine, or experience food contained in rigid packaging. This product experience at the point of purchase requires pliable or flexible packaging. However, pliable or flexible packaging has limited ability to stack, both on the store shelf, as well as in the pet owner's pantry. Provided is a multi-functional container for moist or wet, textured food. The container has rigid sidewalls, a bottom with at least a portion made from a flexible or pliable material or membrane or that provides access to a bag of a flexible or pliable material or membrane, and a lid to seal the opening of the container or the bag. Since the food contacts the flexible or pliable material or membrane, it can be tactilely examined at the point of purchase. If the material or membrane is transparent, the food can also be visibly examined at the point of purchase.
