A method for making a custom pose-able, full body action figure of an individual with customized recloseable packaging for the action figure comprises: making a head for the action figure from front and optional side view photographs; assembling a full body shape approximating that of the individual's gender, relative height and weight (i.e., body build); relative dimensions; painting the full body shape and providing it with customized apparel; and attaching the head to the full body shape in a swivelable manner. The action figure is supplemented with one or more accessories before being placed in a custom printed, repeatedly recloseable display package.

The lid is moveable in a sliding fashion between a fully closed position in which the lid front portion abuts the tray front wall and a fully opened position in which lid backstops abut the tray rear wall. The lid and tray may remain engaged at all times.
