STACKABLE CRATE
20220371777 · 2022-11-24 ·

A stackable crate has a horizontally oriented bottom panel and four vertically oriented side panels that are separately attached at their edges to form the stackable crate. Two straight-line channels, with widths at their tops being greater than at their bottoms, form ribs within the crate. When the channels and ribs of a first crate are aligned with the channels of a second stackable crate, the first crate nests within the second crate even when non-uniform material in the second crate is stored within it, without spilling the material or toppling the stack. When the channels and ribs of the first crate are not aligned with the channels of the second crate, the first crate does not nest within the second crate but instead rests on the tops of the ribs of the first crate.

A tray includes a base and a pair of side walls extending upward from side edges of the base. Front and rear walls extend upward from front and rear edges of the base. The front and rear walls are shorter than the side walls. A plurality of support posts project upwardly from the upper edge of the front and rear walls. A lip is spaced outward of the front wall and the rear wall. Each lip includes a lower edge protruding downward to form columns aligned below the support posts. When stacked on a similar tray the columns contact the support posts of the similar tray to help support the front and rear walls. The base includes a recess below the columns for receiving the blade of a hand truck, which will transfer load throughout a stack of trays from columns to support posts.

Stackable container

A container capable of being placed in a stacking configuration with an identical second container includes a bottom, a top rim defining an open top, and a sidewall contiguous with and extending between the bottom and the top rim to define an inner space. The container further includes a first curved structure forming at least part of the top rim adjacent a first sidewall side and a second curved structure forming at least part of the top rim adjacent a second sidewall side and disposed opposite the first curved structure. The container also includes first and second channels molded into the bottom and at least partially protruding into the inner space, the channels being substantially parallel to each other and to first and second sidewall ends, wherein a distance between the first and second channels is substantially equal to a first distance between the first and second curved structures.

TRAY FOR STACKING LAYERS OF STRUCTURAL BOTTLES
20190016516 · 2019-01-17 ·

The present invention provides a tray for stacking layers of structural bottles. The tray has an upper surface and an opposed lower surface. The upper surface has a plurality of wells and the lower surface has a plurality of pockets, the pockets and wells are disposed in a corresponding array of columns and rows. An annular seating surface of a well is segmented with each segment having a generally concave surface facing radially inwardly of the well. The concave surface has a vertical portion that extends downwardly and radially inwardly to a radial segment. The radial segment forms a horizontal support surface for receiving a bottom of one of the structural bottles. A first rotational interlock structure extends outward from the concave surface along one of the segments.
