Breakable locking cap for a container comprising a neck
The invention relates to a locking cap for a container comprising a neck, intended to block a stopper in the neck of the container and comprising: an external body having a breakable part, a cage that is configured to fit into and lock axially in the external body, and having a breakable zone, the cage further comprising: an upper ring, a plurality n of branches that are connected to the upper ring and define therewith a generally cylindrical shape, n/2 first bridges and n/2 second bridges, each interconnecting two adjacent branches, at least one opening tab, which is supported by a second bridge, which is inclined toward the outside of the cage and is oriented toward the upper ring, the opening tab being adjacent to the breakable zone, which is located on the second bridge.
Container cap and compounds
An apparatus configured for accommodating and dispensing a compound into a container is provided. The apparatus includes a body including an upper end portion, a lower end portion, and an opening defining a volume configured for accommodating the compound. The apparatus includes a lid removably coupled and moveable relative to the upper end portion of the body. The lid includes an upper end portion including an exterior surface and an interior surface. Further, the lid includes a protrusion extending downwardly from the interior surface of the lid by a second length greater than a first length of the body. The protrusion includes a gasket interposing between an inner surface of the body and an outer surface of the protrusion.
A SHRINK LABEL AND METHOD OF USE
A shrink label for application to a bottle and a cap is provided to maintain the position of the cap relative to the bottle. The shrink label includes an interior surface defining an opening therethrough, a first adhesive strip extending circumferentially about the interior surface of the shrink label, and a second adhesive strip spaced a distance above the first adhesive strip and extending circumferentially about the interior surface of the shrink label. The first adhesive strip is aligned with a portion of the bottle and the second adhesive strip is aligned with a side portion of the cap such that an intersection point between the bottle and the cap is positioned between the first adhesive strip and the second adhesive strip. A perforation line can be included on the shrink label above the second adhesive strip for removal of the shrink label.
Closure
A tamper-evident closure comprising a cap and a retaining ring, the retaining ring is connected to the sidewall by a plurality of bridges, at least one of the bridges is frangible and at least one of the bridges is non-frangible whereby to form a link between the ring and the sidewall.
PACKAGING WITH TAMPER-EVIDENT SEAL
A packaging comprising, a container made of plastic and comprising lateral walls, an upper opening and a bottom and, on the other hand, a lid that is made of plastic, is detachable and is configured to cover the upper opening of the container, and in which the container is provided at its upper opening with a first engagement portion bearing an outwardly directed ridge running around the periphery, said lid being provided on its peripheral part with a second engagement portion that extends folded downward and provided with an inwardly directed ridge which is able to latch underneath the outwardly directed ridge of the container, and in which the second engagement portion of the lid has a skirt with a skirt section that can be folded back and that bears a lug which is able to latch onto a second outwardly directed ridge of the container.
TAMPER EVIDENT OVERCAP FOR DRUMS
A snap fitting, tamper evident overcap for drums and bung covers is described. The tamper evident strip is attached to a peripheral edge of the overcap, and it is removed by tearing along a vertical groove formed in the strip and then, by way of a grasping handle, rotationally pulling the strip so as to break the frangible bridge elements that previously held the strip to the overcap.
SPLIT BAND CLOSURE WITH SINGLE ANCHOR
An apparatus and methods are provided for a closure for sealing contents within an interior of a container. The closure comprises a closure portion that is coupled to a tamper evidence band by a single anchor. The closure portion threadably engages with a finish portion of the container and seals contents in the interior of the container. The anchor is configured to keep the closure portion coupled with the tamper evidence band when the closure portion is untightened from the finish portion. A multiplicity of thin connections between the tamper evidence band and the closure portion break apart when the closure portion is untightened from the finish portion. The anchor remains unbroken and allows the closure portion to be tilted away from the finish portion. The tamper evidence band includes a split portion that separates when the closure portion is pulled from the finish portion with sufficient force.
Closure with Tamper-Evidencing Lift Tab
A closure includes a cap having a top wall and a skirt perpendicular to the top wall and extending downwardly from the top wall to a lower edge. The skirt includes an inner surface having a sealing formation. A band is concentric with and attached to the lower edge of the skirt by a plurality of frangible members. A tab is pivotally connected to an upper portion of the closure.
Synthetic resin container lid
A container lid (2) can be removed from a mouth-neck section (106) of a container without the need for a tool. Following the breakage of a breakable thin-walled line (70) in a transition region (52), the breakage of a breakable thin-walled connection wall (68) in a side wall separation region (54) can be started sufficiently smoothly in the container lid (2). For this purpose, the breakable thin-walled line (70) formed in a side wall (10) in the transition region (52) is brought into a form in which at least a part thereof extends obliquely downwardly in a counterclockwise direction.
