A strengthening member (16) is joined to lower segment of the circumferential wall (15). A center panel (12) extends radially inwardly from the circumferential strengthening member (16). A rivet (38) attaches a tab (28) to the center panel (12). A cover (60) is attached to the tab (28) and is rotation therewith. A frangible score (24) in the center panel (12) is breakable to form a pour opening (27) in the center panel (12). The cover (60) is rotatable to overlay the pour opening (27) and effectively reclose the pour opening (27) in a reclosed condition of the can end (10).

The sealing edges are configured such that the radially innermost sealing edge still seals when the radially outer sealing edges have just been released.

In some embodiments, the reclosable can end comprises: a lid base that comprises a scored area; a tab that causes the scored area to at least partially separate from the lid base to expose an opening in the lid base; a closure flap, wherein the closure flap comprises: a first portion; a second portion; an opening; and a protruding portion; and a rivet that connects the tab and the closure flap to the lid base such that the tab and the closure flap are configured to rotate around the rivet, wherein the first portion of the closure flap is configured to be inserted into the opening in the lid base end when the tab and the closure flap are rotated to a position corresponding to a position of the opening in the lid base.

A resealable easy open lid that is composed of a lid and a pull ring riveted on the lid; the rear end of the pull ring is composed of an outer ring body and an inner tongue of the pull ring; the tongue is provided with an arched deformation area along the edge; the arched deformation area is an edge inclined to the inner side of the lid which is formed by die stamping on the tongue of the pull ring; the tongue is provided with a part arching to the outside of the lid; after the pull ring is rotated around the riveting point, the tongue of the pull ring covers the opening zone, and when the middle part of the tongue is pressed, the arched deformation area can be overturned and deformed to make it contact with the edge of the opening area to seal the area.

A resealable easy open lid that is composed of a lid and a pull ring riveted on the lid; the rear end of the pull ring is composed of an outer ring body and an inner tongue of the pull ring; the tongue is provided with an arched deformation area along the edge; the arched deformation area is an edge inclined to the inner side of the lid which is formed by die stamping on the tongue of the pull ring; the tongue is provided with a part arching to the outside of the lid; after the pull ring is rotated around the riveting point, the tongue of the pull ring covers the opening zone, and when the middle part of the tongue is pressed, the arched deformation area can be overturned and deformed to make it contact with the edge of the opening area to seal the area.

In one embodiment, the lid of the container includes a lid panel having a break-open region at least partially surrounded by a predetermined breaking line, and having a fastening element arranged on the lid panel. The lid further including a lever tab rotatably attached to the fastening element for breaking open the break-open region along the predetermined breaking line in the direction of an underside of the lid panel and thereby providing a removal opening in the lid panel. In some embodiments, the lever tab includes a closure element for tightly closing the removal opening, the closure element has a first portion mountable on an upper side of the lid panel and partially sealingly enclosing the removal opening and a second portion mountable on a lower surface of the lid panel and partially sealingly enclosing the removal opening.

The bottom surface of the lid has an opener which is also used to secure the lid to the top of the beverage can.
