Composite pallet

Composite pallets and methods for making and using composite pallets are disclosed. An example composite pallet may include a base layer. The base layer may include a first base board, a second base board, and a cross-member extending between the first base board and the second base board. The cross-member may include a first end region designed to be detachably coupled to the first base board, a second end region designed to be detachably coupled to the second base board, and at least one curved section positioned between the first end region and the second end region. The cross-member may include a polymer. An intermediate layer may be coupled to the base layer. The intermediate layer may include a plurality of intermediate boards. A top layer may be coupled to the intermediate layer. The top layer may include a plurality of top boards.

REEL PALLET

At least a surface of a reel pallet is made of resin. When a distance in a first direction between a reel supported by a first reel support and a reel supported by a second reel support is denoted by La, a distance in the first direction between an outer edge of the reel supported by the second reel support and a fourth side of an arrangement surface is denoted by Lb1, and a distance in the first direction between an end surface of the reel supported by the first reel support and a second side of the arrangement surface is denoted by Lb2, the reel pallet satisfies a relationship of 1<La/(Lb1+Lb2)<3.

A spill pallet including: a continuous, unitary, liftable sump-defining base having a bottom, side walls extending from and surrounding the bottom and terminating in an upper edge, a plurality of risers extending from the bottom, and a rim formed in the side walls below the upper edge; and at least one drum-supporting grate that is supportable on the plurality of risers and the rim of the base. Two fork channels that are accessible from a side of the base have a fork cavity height and a fork cavity width sufficient to permit the spill pallet to be lifted by a standard fork lift truck or by a standard pallet jack. The bases are configured such that they are stackable on and partially nestable within identical bases to form stacks, which can be shipped side-by-side as a partial load within a truck, trailer or container.
