A pallet system (10) for transporting goods has a pallet (12) and a measuring component (14) located on top of the upper surface (18) of the pallet (12). The measuring component (14) comprises a first conductive layer (32) and a second conductive layer (34) spaced apart from each other forming a capacitor with a gap (36). At least one elastic element (30) is arranged within the gap, and a control unit (31) is electrically connected to the first conductive layer (32) and the second conductive layer (34), wherein the control unit (31) is configured to measure the capacitance of the capacitor. A pallet includes: a top plate that has a rectangular shape and that is to be loaded with a load object; multiple blocks that are disposed at a multiple locations including four corners of the top plate and that support the top plate from below; and a bottom plate that is disposed such that the multiple blocks are placed on the bottom plate. The top plate has a long side and a short side. Blocks included in the multiple blocks and disposed at the corners of the top plate each has a long side and a short side. The long side of each of the blocks included in the multiple blocks and disposed at the corners of the top plate is disposed along the short side of the top plate.

A platform comprising a deck, wherein the deck comprises a product supporting surface for supporting an article thereon. The deck is defined by a plurality of sidewalls which extend from a periphery of the product supporting surface. The platform further comprises an attachment feature arrangement disposed along one or more of the sidewalls. The attachment feature arrangement comprises an inner slot and an outer recess. The inner slot and the outer recess are disposed adjacent one another and separated by a divider. The inner slot comprises one or more inwardly-facing projections, and the outer recess comprises one or more outwardly-facing projections. The projections extend from the divider and are configured to engage a corresponding projection-engaging feature of the article supported by the product supporting surface.

A pallet includes a top deck and pallet support legs coupled to the top deck. The top deck has a product support surface and an opposing underside, with the underside having snaps openings therein. Each pallet support leg includes a base extending across a width of the top deck, and a pair of outer leg supports extending from ends of the base. Each outer leg support includes at least one outwardly facing snap and at least one inwardly facing snap inserted into respective snap openings in the top deck.

A platform includes a top deck with spaced apart platform support leg openings extending therethrough, and platform support legs extending from a lower surface of the top deck and aligned with the platform support leg openings. Each platform support leg includes an upper portion and a lower portion, with the upper portion having an opening extending therethrough and aligned with a respective one of the platform support leg openings in the top deck. The lower portion includes a shelf that separates the opening in the upper portion from the lower portion. The shelf provides support to a bottom surface of a platform support leg from an identical platform when stacked thereon. A pair of extensions extend outwards from a bottom surface of the lower portion, with the opening in the upper portion providing clearance for the pair of extensions on the platform support leg of the identical platform when stacked thereon.

A support module for a platform comprises a body and a lower surface. The body defines an opening configured to receive a pallet support. The lower surface is configured to abut a top deck of the platform.

A platform including a top deck is configured to receive a pallet when stacked thereon. The top deck includes at least one integrally formed recessed support configured to receive a pallet support of the pallet. The at least one recessed support includes a perimeter recessed in the top deck and which defines a cavity configured to receive the pallet support.

The present application discloses a pallet truck backrest assembly for handling half-size pallets. A first half-size pallet support is pivotally coupled to a backrest of the backrest assembly at a first height and a second half-size pallet support is pivotally coupled to the backrest at a second height with the second height being less than the first height. The half-size pallet supports pivot between first positions against the backrest and second positions extending over the forks of the pallet truck to accommodate half-size pallets.

A pallet lift includes a pair of outer tines movable between an expanded position spaced outward away from inner tines and a retracted position adjacent the inner tines. The inner and outer tines are supported by wheels at locations spaced away from the lift mechanism. A pallet includes a plurality of nestable feet that open outwardly of the pallet to reduce the footprint. A second pallet includes a side wall extending downward from side edges of the pallet to define an opening adjacent outer feet.

A nestable pallet includes a deck having opposed side edges and opposed end edges. A plurality of feet extend downward from the deck. The feet are hollow and elongated in a direction parallel to the side edges of the deck. The deck includes openings therethrough that lead into the feet for receiving the feet of an identical nestable pallet nested thereon. A half pallet includes a half deck and a plurality of feet extending downward from the half deck. The feet of the half pallet extend into half of the plurality of feet of the nestable pallet. Optionally, the deck further includes a handle opening having at least one handle wall adjacent the handle opening. A plurality of ribs extend upward from the handle wall.
