A moisture-tight, re-sealable container is disclosed having a lid and body. The lid and body have a non-round seal that is substantially moisture tight when the lid is seated on the body, admitting less than 1000 micrograms per day of water to a package. A reinforcement stiffens or reinforces at least a portion of the seal against inward deflection along an axis defined by the minor diameter when the lid is seated on the body. Optionally the reinforcement is at least one spline subdividing the reservoir. A method of making dispensers for objects of varying length to customize particular dispensers to dispense such objects of a particular length is also disclosed.

The closure assembly (100) includes a frame (105) configured to couple to a container (200); an interior lid hingedly coupled to the frame (105) along a first longitudinal side thereof and movable between a closed position and an open position, wherein the lid (110) includes a lid rim that defines an opening, a flexible membrane (300) housed within the opening of the lid rim, wherein the flexible membrane (300) defines a zone configured to permit a plurality of articles to feed therethrough, and a tab member (120) fixedly coupled to the lid rim and extending above the membrane (300), wherein the tab member (120) defines a channel groove (125) configured to receive a leading article of the plurality of articles therein and separate the leading article from the plurality of articles. A system for food containment and transport is disclosed herein. Exemplary systems utilize a multi-configuration lid operable to connect to a container in different configurations depending on the type of food or item being contained and transported. In one configuration, the multi-configuration lid can be connected to a container to form an airtight seal. In another configuration, the multi-configuration lid can be connected to a container to allow venting of the container. The exemplary lid and container systems disclosed herein a further adapted for easy storage and transport.

A lid is provided that includes an access opening in a top wall thereof selectively coverable by a pivotable cover. The lid attaches to a foodstuff container and provides access to an interior of the container. The lid achieves this without requiring removal of the lid while also providing an impeded foodstuff dispense path having greater control. The cover pivots between open and closed positions, and in one form, can be secured in one or both positions. A system and method for storing, shipping, and displaying produce in a box which has a tamper-evident closure. The box may be formed of folded cardboard and a transparent plastic lid which engages top edges of the box. The lid has a plurality of tabs around its periphery that may be bent and inserted into slots or notches formed in the box edges, and then expand to a larger relaxed size. The slots or notches have perforated lines enabling the lid to be ripped upward to open the box, thus indicating that the container has been tampered with.
