A drinking vessel may include a tumbler having an inner surface dimension, a first portion, and a second portion. The first portion may include a proximal surface having a first dimension and a first rim coupled to the proximal surface and having a second dimension, the first dimension being larger than the second dimension. The second portion may include a collar having an outer dimension substantially similar to the first dimension, an inner dimension substantially similar to the second dimension, and a second rim connected to the collar and having an outer dimension substantially similar to the second dimension and the inner surface dimension.

A container lid and lock ring combination includes a lid for a container and a lock ring configured to extend loosely around the lid. The lock ring is configured to be tightened for securing the lid to a container. A joint connects the lid and the lock ring to one another.

FOOD TIN WITH VACUUM SEALED LID

A can comprises a metal can body and a metal lid. The can body has an edge defining a top opening into the body, and an inwardly directed bead (22) extending around the body adjacent to the top opening. The bead defines an upwardly facing sealing surface (25) and an inwardly facing surface (26). The lid has a centre panel (30), a wall (32) surrounding the centre panel, and an outwardly directed curl (34) at the top of the wall. The curl defines a peripherally extending channel (35) having an opening therein, and sealing compound (36) is located within the channel and projects through the opening. The can body and the lid are dimensioned to allow the lid to be press-fitted into the can body, so that an outwardly facing surface of the wall opposes the inwardly facing sealing surface of the bead, whilst the sealing compound is in sealing engagement with the upwardly facing sealing surface of the bead.

LIDDED CONTAINER

In a container having a lid member coupled to a container body by a hinge, the lid member includes a top surface, an inner ring formed on the top surface, and a projected part is formed on the top surface concentrically with the inner ring and which has an outer peripheral surface provided with an outer peripheral surface projection along the circumferential direction. The container body has a sidewall with a first inner peripheral surface having an inner peripheral surface projection formed along the circumferential direction, and a second inner peripheral surface having an inner diameter different from that of the first inner peripheral surface. When the lid member is closed, the inner ring seals the container body by being fitted to the second inner peripheral surface. The outer peripheral surface projection contacts and slides over the inner peripheral surface projection to lock the lid member the container body.

Lid For Container

An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The opening can be sealed by a closure, the closure having an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of “flip” type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. The closure may also be a two-part lid having a lower cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the container and an upper cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the lower cap.

MODULARIZED STORAGE CONTAINER

In some examples, an apparatus may include a lid and a first storage compartment. In various examples, the lid may include a top end, a bottom end and a bowl stand. In other examples, the bowl stand may include an opening at the bottom end of the lid and a bowl stand well extending from the opening and bowl stand well stand dimensioned to fit a bowl stem of a bowl.

Lid assembly for a beverage container

A leak resistant lid assembly for a beverage container where the lid assembly has a straw or similar means for a user to drink liquid is disclosed. The lid assembly may include a base, a straw that extends through the base, a gasket, and a grommet. The base may have a primary opening that receives the straw and a secondary opening in the top of the base, where the secondary opening acts as a vent to prevent a vacuum from occurring when drinking from a straw. The grommet may have a spiral ring may help create a flow path for air from inside the beverage container to the exterior environment.

THREADED CONTAINER COMPONENTS HAVING FRUSTUM SHAPED SURFACES ENABLING NESTING
20230021579 · 2023-01-26 ·

A container lid comprising a frustum shaped sidewall, a chuck shoulder formed between an upper edge of the sidewall and a seaming panel, and at least one translative motion guide feature extending radially inward from the sidewall. A bottom (lower) edge of the sidewall can be closed by a bottom wall or rolled creating an open design. The frustum shaped sidewall and size of the translative motion guide features is designed to enable nesting of multiple container lids/caps. The lid is seamed to a container body. The lid and cap each include sealing surfaces designed to engage with one another creating a gas and liquid impervious seal, preferably capable of retaining pressure within a container. Alternatively, the translative motion guide feature can be integral with a frustum shaped container body, such as a cup.

A LID

A rimless lid (10, 97, 99) for a container, the rimless lid comprising: a cover member having an outer side (1) and an inner side (3) and a peripheral edge (5); and a reinforcing arrangement comprising one or more reinforcing members (30, 140, 530, 540, 630, 640) located at the inner side (3) of the cover member; wherein at least one of the peripheral edge (5) of the cover member or the one or more reinforcing members (30, 140, 530, 540, 630, 640) is/are configured to frictionally engage an internal wall of the container when the lid is mounted thereto.

Variable Volume Evacuable Container
20230211937 · 2023-07-06 ·

A variable volume evacuable container has a closed bottom, an open top, and a spirally threaded inner wall extending therebetween. A lid configured to threadably engage the inner wall has a top surface, a perimeter, a bottom surface, and a funneling volume within the perimeter and below the bottom surface. A duct is defined through the top and bottom surfaces at the apex of the funneling volume, and a moveable baffle is coupled to the top surface to cover or uncover the duct. The bottom surface slopes continuously upward to the apex so that downward rotation of the lid against contained liquid forces air out of the duct until the liquid fills the funneling volume, allowing the baffle to seal the liquid from air by covering the duct.
