Lid For Container
An insulating container can be configured to retain a volume of liquid, and include a first inner wall having a first end having an opening extending into an internal reservoir, and a second outer wall forming an outer shell. The opening can be sealed by a closure, the closure having an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of “flip” type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. The closure may also be a two-part lid having a lower cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the container and an upper cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the lower cap.
EXPANDABLE PACKAGING
An expandable bowl has an open top and a plurality of configuration changing side members connecting the open top to a base member. The configuration changing side members are designed to allow a user to pull the base member to changing the side members from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration, thereby increasing the overall volume of the bowl. The expandable bowl may be useful for various products, such as pre-packaged salads, where the salads may be packaged and displayed in the collapsed configuration, thereby minimizing shelf space, and may be changed to the expanded configuration by a user to permit tossing of the salad without risking spillage of the contents of the bowl.
Freshness plug
A freshness plug includes a solid round body having an internally depressed section, a protrusion extending from the internally depressed section, a shoulder extending from an exterior of the internally depressed section, and malleable flanges below the shoulder.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FOOD STORAGE
An apparatus for the storage of food includes a body portion having a hollow interior configured to receive food, a first end, and a second end opposite the first end. The apparatus further includes a lid configured for selective engagement with the second end of the body portion and a lid assembly configured for selective engagement with the first end of the body portion. The lid assembly includes a crumb filter having a plurality of apertures configured to permit the passage of food crumbs, and a cap, which may be selectively removed from the crumb filter so that food crumbs may be discarded from the body portion.
CONTAINER WITH LOCKING LID
In one example, a lid configured for use with a container includes an upper surface that is generally circular in shape, and further includes a side wall with an annular configuration, the side wall intersecting the upper surface to define an edge of the lid. A grip element is defined in the upper surface and sized and configured to be grasped by one or more fingers of a user, and the grip element includes a grip portion that is set back a distance from the edge of the lid. Finally, a tab is provided that is attached to the side wall of the lid by an elastically deformable standoff element.
Container with a lid and threaded closure mechanism
The container with a lid and threaded closure mechanism includes a receptacle having a mouth surrounded by a thread, a lid, a sealing ring and a closure mechanism formed by a disc with a hollow interior and a perimetral tubular skirt provided with an engagement configuration complementary to the thread of the receptacle. The closure mechanism surrounds the lid and holds it against the mouth of the receptacle by means of a threaded attachment between the engagement configuration of the closure mechanism and the thread of the receptacle, assuring proper hermetic closure of the lid with the receptacle in cooperation with the sealing ring. The lid and the closure mechanism have mutually engaging elements with a complementary non-circular geometry and size, with both elements being tightly fitted preventing relative rotation of the closure mechanism with respect to the lid.
Article and method of manufacture of resiliant stackable reusable container
An article of manufacture and process for manufacturing a reusable stackable resilient container formed from lightweight materials and coated with a polyurea coating to provide structural support. An article of manufacture may be formed in the various dimensions and shape to enclose items and objects that are delicate and of high-value for shipping. The reusable stackable resilient container has advantages of a long service life, less weight, a lower cost of production, impact-resistant, impervious to environmental factors and other improved characteristics.
CONTAINER WITH COVER
A container includes a base, and a jacket adjoining the base and having a peripheral flange which defines an opening cross section which can be closed by a cover. The cover includes first snap-fit hooks distributed about a periphery of the cover for engagement in complementing first latching openings in the peripheral flange to thereby establish a form fit that prevents a movement away from the base and parallel to a vertical axis of the container in perpendicular relation to the base. The peripheral flange has four corner regions, each provided with a second latching opening for engagement of a second snap-fit hook of the cover. The second latching opening has at least one portion configured curved or inclined in relation to both a transverse axis and a longitudinal axis of the container, or has at least two straight portions extending at an inclination in relation to one another.
LID OF A CONTAINER
A lid for a container includes snap-fit hooks for interlocking engagement in complementing latching openings of an outwardly projecting flange of a jacket of the container, and stacking parts disposed on a lower side of the lid close to the periphery for form-fitting engagement in complementing stacking parts on an upper side of a further said lid, when the lids are stacked. The lower side of the lid and the upper side of the further lid have each a central region that forms a contact area via which compressive forces are transmissible in the presence of a contact between the contact areas of the lower side of the lid and the contact area of the upper side of the further lid.
CONTAINER WITH A SEALING COVER
A container assembly includes a container having an open top formed in an upper section of the container. The upper section of the container includes an inner peripheral surface, an outer peripheral surface and a flange formed between the inner and the outer peripheral surfaces. The open top is defined by the inner peripheral surface. A cover made by flexible material includes a skirt which includes a first lip, a second lip and a valley formed between the first and second lips. When the cover is mounted to the open top of the container, the flange of the container is engaged with the valley, the first lip is fully in contact with the inner peripheral surface, and the second lip is fully in contact with the outer peripheral surface so as to form an air-tight status. By lifting the second lip, the cover is easily removed from the container.
