Lid assembly with a rotary trigger for seal assembly and beverage container comprising the same
The present invention provides a lid assembly with a rotary trigger mechanism in combination with a seal assembly useful for actuating to open or close drink orifices and/or gas vent and is also able to selectively open the type of drink orifice as desirable. The invention also relates to a beverage container comprising such a lid assembly.
High flow tap for dispensing fluids from a container and related applications
A tap dispenser assembly for use with a fluid container including a tap body, a spring button, and a valve. The tap body includes an attachment portion, a dispensing portion, and a fluid channel with an upper wall and a lower wall. The dispensing portion includes a valve stem guide and a guide support. The guide support is above the lower wall and/or the upper wall. The valve is connected to the spring button and is slidingly inserted into the valve stem guide. The tap dispenser assembly has a closed position where the spring button is not depressed and the valve seals the dispensing portion and an open position where the spring button is depressed and the seal between the valve and dispensing portion is broken, allowing fluid to flow from the tap dispenser assembly.
Soft straw lid for beverage container
A lid assembly for a beverage container is provided. The lid assembly has a lid base, a mouthpiece and a lid dome. The mouthpiece is connected to the lid base and has a first end having a generally flat surface that is provided at an angle to the top surface of the lid base, a second end adapted to receive a straw, and a drink aperture therethrough. The lid dome is pivotally connected to the lid base and pivots between an open position and a closed position. The lid dome has a protrusion that extends from an inner surface of the lid dome. The protrusion has a seal surface at an angle to the top wall to seal against the first end of the mouthpiece to close the drink aperture when the lid dome is in the closed position.
PACKAGE BODY FOR POUCH CONTAINER AND POUCH CONTAINER PACKAGE
A pouch container packaging body and a pouch container package with which a container body can be more reliably opened. The packaging body includes a container body including a top sheet covering the container body at a top side and a spout fixed to an outer surface of the top sheet and including a dispensing space extending axially. The spout includes a fixed portion on the top sheet, a rotating portion to rotate the fixed portion, and a cutting portion to cut the top sheet. The top sheet includes a flat portion where the fixed portion is fixed. The cutting portion is positioned away from the flat portion in an initial state and moves while rotating in a direction from an external surface to an internal surface of the flat portion in response to rotation of the rotating portion, and cuts the flat portion.
Spigot and spigot guard for an insulating container
A gasket for an insulating container may include a stem, wherein the stem further includes a plurality of prongs, and wherein the prongs are configured to be inserted into a recess in an underside of an insulating container lid, a first side, wherein the first side is connected to the stem, and wherein the first side is positioned substantially perpendicular to the stem, a second side, wherein the second side is configured to extend from the first side at an angle of 30-60 degrees, and wherein the first side and the second side form a V-shaped extension, and at least one venting hole, wherein the venting hole extends from an outside edge of a gasket wall to an interior gasket wall, and wherein the venting hole provides a conduit to an interior void of the insulating container.
Lid for container
Disclosed are embodiments of containers having lids configured for dispensing contents from the container. In one embodiment, a lid can include a spout coupled to a spout collar; the lid can further include a link coupling the spout collar to a spout cover. The spout collar and link are configured to rotate the spout cover in a direction opposite a rotation of the spout as the spout initially rotates from a stowed position to an in-use position; as the spout continues to rotate toward the in-use position the spout cover reverses rotation and rotates toward the spout to cover an inners space of the lid previously occupied by the spout. When the spout achieves the in-use position the spout cover covers the space occupied by the spout when the spout is in the stowed position. As the spout is rotated from the in-use position toward the stowed position, the spout collar and the link cause the spout cover to open and rotate away from the spout. A further rotation of the spout towards the stowed position causes the spout cover to rotate back towards the spout. When the spout achieves the stowed the position the spout completes its rotation and covers the spout.
Flow control insert
A flow control insert (102) for a dispensing closure is provided. The insert has a plurality of dispensing slits (that define petals. (120,122,124,126). The petals are formed in an open position and are closed upon assembly of the insert into a dispensing closure.
Pierceable closure valve assembly
The present application relates to a closure assembly for connection to a spout in fluid communication with a container. The closure assembly includes a housing configured to be secured to the spout and including a fluid passageway and a piercable membrane in the fluid passageway. The closure assembly includes a retention member configured to be secured to the housing and a flexible valve that is positioned in the fluid passageway of the housing and that is secured to the housing by the retention member. The closure assembly is configured to receive a piercing element that extends into the housing such that the piercing member can pierce the valve and the membrane, and the retention member has locking elements that engage the piercing element to lock the piercing element in place with respect to the assembly.
Self-closing Flip-spout Cap
