Polymer Composition for Manufacturing Large Container Containing High-Density Polyethylene Recovered From Secondary Battery Separator and Large Container Manufactured Using the Same
Provided is a polymer composition for manufacturing a large container that contains high-density polyethylene recycled from a secondary battery separator and has excellent mechanical properties. Specifically, a polymer composition having excellent processability may be prepared by recycling a secondary battery separator, and an eco-friendly large container having excellent mechanical properties such as a flexural modulus, an elongation, and an impact strength in a wide temperature range, and having an excellent environmental stress cracking resistance may be manufactured by molding the polymer composition.
LAMINATED BODY
The invention provides a laminated body which contains an environmentally friendly recycled material, has a lamination constitution composed of substantially a single resin type mainly composed of polyester and having a low environmental load, and has required performances such as gas barrier properties, sealability, toughness, and transparency required for a packaging material.
The laminated body is formed by laminating a polyester substrate film containing 50% by weight or more of a polyester resin recycled from PET bottles and a heat sealable resin layer in this order,
wherein the substrate film is a laminated film including an inorganic thin film layer (A) and a protective layer (a) containing a urethane resin on one surface thereof, and
the heat sealable resin layer is formed of a polyester-based resin mainly composed of ethylene terephthalate, and has a piercing strength of 10 N or more and a haze of 20% or less.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SINGLE-USE COMPOSTABLE CONTAINERS
A compostable single-use container generally includes a substantially planar lid component and a tray component. The lid component has a top surface and a bottom surface. The tray component has a generally planar top surface adhesively bonded to the bottom surface of the lid component with a sustainable adhesive, and a chamber configured to store an object. The tray component is thermoformed fiber comprising at least one of recycled cardboard, hemp straw, and cannabis straw. The lid portion comprises at least one of a natural-fiber card stock and a compostable sticker.
Repulpable container
A repulpable insulated container assembly having a container formed of paper such as corrugated cardboard or varying paper materials and defining an interior; and a repulpable insert placed within the interior of the container and formed of a first paper layer; and a paper fiber pad coupled to the first paper layer.
MULTILAYER CONTAINER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING RECLAIMED POLYESTER
Provided is a multilayer container including a polyester layer containing a polyester resin (X), and a polyamide layer containing a polyamide resin (Y), a yellowing inhibitor (A), and an oxidation accelerator (B). The content of the polyamide resin (Y) is from 0.05 to 7.0 mass% relative to the total amount of all polyamide layers and all polyester layers. The yellowing inhibitor (A) is a dye, and the content of the yellowing inhibitor (A) is from 1 to 30 ppm relative to the total amount of all polyamide layers and all polyester layers.
PCR FLEXIBLE TUBE CONTAINER
A flexible tube container comprising a side wall formed from a multi-layer polymeric material, the side wall comprising a longitudinal weld or join, the multi-layer polymeric material comprising a thickness of between 200 and 400 micrometers, said multi-layer polymeric material comprising at least one layer of virgin polyolefin based and at least one layer of post-consumer resin or recycled material, wherein the multi-layer polymeric material is produced with a step of pushing action towards the interior of the sheet with no subsequent extrusion or lamination step, and the layer of virgin polyolefin is an outermost layer.
REUSABLE PACKAGING
I disclose a packaging article, comprising a wall having an outer surface configured to be visible to consumers and an inner surface configured to secure a product; wherein the wall comprises one or more regions configured to be extracted from the wall, wherein all borders of the region or regions are identified on the inner surface and the region or regions are configured to form an article or articles other than the packaging article. I also disclose methods of forming the packaging article.
SLEEVE-SHAPED OUTER PART, COMBINATION PACKAGING CONTAINER EQUIPPED THEREWITH, AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING THE COMBINATION PACKAGING CONTAINER
A sleeve-shaped outer part is formed from a blank cut that is wound to a sleeve and end sections are connected to one another in an overlap region. A predetermined separating region includes an actuator with a gripping section for the separation of separating sections located on both sides. The separating section, as seen in circumferential direction, is arranged so as to be laterally spaced apart by an offset with respect to the separating sections aligned to taper towards one another and an imaginary straight connecting line between them. A separate predetermined separating section is formed in the sleeve of the outer part between each gripping section end and the respective end of the separating sections. A combination packaging container includes a cup-shaped inner container having such an outer part and a method separates the predetermined separating region and the separation of the outer part from the inner container.
MULTI-LAYERED PACKAGING MATERIALS CONTAINING POST CONSUMER RESIN AND PROCESSES FOR MAKING SAME
Multi-layered packaging materials. In an embodiment, a packaging material includes: an outer layer comprising a colorant and from about 70 wt % to about 99 wt % of a first post consumer resin (PCR); and an inner layer comprising a polymer and being about 3 wt % to about 99 wt % of the total packaging material. The packaging material can also include a middle comprising another colorant and from about 70 wt % to about 100 wt % of another PCR. In another embodiment, a packaging material includes: an outer layer comprising a first colorant and from about 70 wt % to about 99 wt % of a first virgin polymer; a middle layer that is about 40 wt % to about 95 wt % of the total packaging material, the middle layer comprising a PCR; and an inner layer comprising a second virgin polymer. The foregoing packaging materials can be made by co-extruding the different layers therein.
