The invention relates to a device for the picking and packing of goods from at least one source storage installation on at least one target load carrier according to a packing layout. Further, the invention relates to a method for the picking and packing of goods from at least one source storage installation on at least one target load carrier according to a packing layout. In order to achieve a particularly efficient method, it is provided according to the invention that a partial amount of the goods that are to be positioned on the target load carrier are arranged in a grouping region according to a grouping that corresponds to a part of the packing layout, after which the grouping is moved from the grouping region into a position on the target load carrier that corresponds to the packing layout.

The disclosure relates to a transportation unit for transporting a plurality of coils. This transportation unit provides an easy transportation and an easy to handle system wherein the respective load of coils which can be shipped can be increased. The transportation unit comprises a palette, and a plurality of bags stacked in layers on the palette, wherein each of the bags contains a plurality of coils arranged in a first layer such that centers of the coils in the first layer are arranged parallel with respect to each other such that an axial direction of the center of each coil in the first layer is approximately perpendicular to an extension direction of the palette. Further the disclosure relates to an assembly comprising a plurality of transport units.

A stackable liquid vessel may be able to receive, store, and dispense various liquids or fluids, such as beverages, cooking oil or vinegar, motor oil, and/or other appropriate materials or substances. Each stackable liquid vessel may be able to at least partially couple to at least one other stackable liquid vessel. An arrangement of stackable liquid vessels may utilize perforated slipsheets to reduce material usage when packing, shipping, storing, and/or displaying multiple stackable liquid vessels (e.g., a pallet of stackable vessels).

A pallet system for the stacking and movement of a product, such as ammunition cans, is described. The pallet system includes vertical supports that substantially contribute to the strength and integrity of the pallet system. The pallet system allows for relatively rapid deployment of the pallet system's contents.

A post for supporting trays of a container comprises a plurality of panel sections including a first panel section. The panel sections form first and second corners positioned adjacent to one side surface of the first panel section and that end up at the interior of the post. The upper trays are desirably supported by the interior corners and also by portions of the panel sections that form the interior corners and by a portion of the first panel section to thereby enhance the support provided to the upper trays. Two of the posts can be positioned together in face to face relationship to form a center post for supporting upper trays. A modular shipping container includes a layer of two side pieces positioned against sides of a component of several components with a same width. The side piece include pegs protruding from a top of each side piece and bottom openings in a bottom of each side piece sized and positioned to conform to the pegs. The container includes one or more end pieces on the same layer as the side pieces. Each end of the end piece is shaped to attach to an end of a side piece and is shaped to maintain a width between the side pieces. A length of an area formed by the side pieces and end pieces is sized to accommodate a maximum length of each component. The components have a height that is an integer number of standard units and a height of the side pieces matches an integral number of the standard units.
