Lidded container and container used therefor
The present invention provides a lidded container which, even when a flange portion of the container warps during microwave heating, can prevent a contact between the flange portion and a lid and allows steam to pass from a steam escape mechanism. The lidded container is provided with a container having an opening and a lid which covers the opening and is joined to the container. The container is provided with a bottom portion, a side portion standing upright from the bottom portion, and a flange portion which is continuously connected to an upper portion of the side portion and includes a first plane. A circumferential seal portion is formed between the lid and the first plane of the flange portion. The seal portion is provided with a main seal portion and a protruding seal portion protruding inward with respect to the main seal portion. At least one of the flange portion and the lid is formed with a contact suppression mechanism for suppressing a contact between the flange portion and the lid, which is provided outside the protruding seal portion at a position corresponding to at least the protruding seal portion.
Multilayer adhesive absorbent laminate
The present invention provides multilayer absorbent laminates useful for absorbing undesired liquids released from packaged food products during storage, display, or heating, including microwave cooking. In one aspect, the present invention provides a multilayer absorbent laminate comprising a first layer comprising an absorbent material, a second layer comprising a polymeric bonding material, a third layer comprising a polymeric support film layer, and a fourth layer comprising an adhesive.
Microwaveable product
A microwaveable product can include a container with an interior and a fluted first sidewall. The product can include a susceptor. The susceptor can be disposed within the container interior. The susceptor can have a fluted second sidewall. The fluted second sidewall can conform to the fluted first sidewall. A food product can be disposed in the interior. The food product can conform to the fluted second sidewall. Microwave energy can reach the food product via the susceptor.

Device and Method of Heating Potstickers by Microwave
The disclosure relates to an apparatus for preparation of a potsticker food product, having: a bag; the potsticker food product within the bag; and wherein the bag defines at least one air gap through the bag. The disclosure further relates to a potsticker manufacturing process, having the steps of: placing a potsticker food product in a bag; sealing the bag; and creating at least one air gap through the bag. Additionally, the disclosure relates to a potsticker preparation process, having the steps of: microwaving a potsticker food product in a bag to create steam; and steaming and venting the steam through at least one air gap through the bag.
PRESSURE RELIEF CONTAINER FOR FOOD TO BE HEATED AND BOX HAVING SAID CONTAINER
A container for food to be heated includes a bottom surface, a sidewall, a peripheral portion, and a pressure relief protrusion. The peripheral portion includes a peripheral plane, an inner edge, an outer edge, and a pressure relief region. The pressure relief region is on the peripheral plane. The pressure relief protrusion is in the pressure relief region, and the pressure relief protrusion contacts the inner edge. The pressure relief protrusion includes a pressure relief curved surface, and the pressure relief curved surface is connected to the peripheral plane. When the peripheral plane contacts a sealing film, the pressure relief curved surface also contacts the sealing film and forms a gap between the sealing film and the junction between the pressure relief curved surface and the peripheral plane. A box having the container is also provided.
