The present invention provides an automated removable frame system for transporting vehicles in a container. The frame system is be assembled in the container, the vehicles are loaded on the frame system, the container is shipped to the location, the vehicles are unloaded from the frame system, and the frame system is disassembled and returned to the manufacture or stored for later use.

An apparatus for reducing a probability of damage to a vehicle from rising water includes a first sheet of a water-resistant material and a second sheet of the water-resistant material. A first side of a connector (e.g., zipper) is interfaced to a first periphery of the first sheet of the water-resistant material and a second side of the connector is interfaced to a second periphery of the second sheet of the water-resistant material. A support structure for supporting vehicles one above the other during transport or storage, the structure comprising a base frame having four corner posts extending generally vertically when in use to support a separate upper frame on which an upper vehicle can be supported in an elevated transport position, and one or more separate lower frames arranged to be positioned within the base frame when in use on which a lower vehicle can be supported. The upper frame is guided up the corner posts when the upper vehicle is raised to its upper transport position and support means associated with the corner posts fasten the upper frame in its transport position relative to the corner posts. In a transmission case mounted on a FF type vehicle, the transmission case includes a resin side cover formed at a front side of the vehicle.
