PACKING BAG AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE PACKING BAG
A packing bag to store a stored article Z with tight seal by a welded sheet material 1 of resin in which a separation-prepared line portion 5, separable by predetermined tensile force F by human hands to take out the stored article Z, is provided along an opening-prepared side portion 10, the sheet material 1 has a layered unit construction in which first and second welding resin layers 61A and 61B are disposed on both sides, and a barrier layer is disposed on a middle position, the separation-prepared line portion 5 is composed of a half-cut first laser-worked groove 7A concaved on the first welding resin layer 61A and a half-cut second laser-worked groove 7B concaved on the second welding resin layer 61B, and, the first and second laser-worked grooves 7A and 7B are formed barely damaging the barrier layer 60.
PACKAGE CLOSURE FOR WITHSTANDING INTERNAL FORCES
A reclosable package comprises a first panel having first and second side sections and a second panel having first and second side sections. The first panel opposes the second panel and is joined to the second panel along the first and second side sections. A bottom extends between the first and second side sections of the first and second panels with the first and second panels joined to each other. A mouth is disposed opposite the bottom and extends between the first and second side sections of the first second panels. A closure member extends along the mouth, with the closure member including a first fin joined to the first panel and second fin joined to the second panel. A sealing member having a first and second ends is disposed proximate the mouth. The ends of the sealing member can be attached to the fin or panel such that at least one of the first end or second ends of the sealing member is attached with peelable seal.
RECLOSABLE PACKAGE AND METHOD AND MACHINE FOR MANUFACTURING A RECLOSABLE PACKAGE
A reclosable package may comprise a first web thermoformed into a trough shape and a second web that encloses a product cavity with the first web. A first sealing extends over at least a portion of the first web and the second web and connects the first web and the second web. The first sealing at least partially defines a periphery of the product cavity. The package further includes a zipper element comprising a third web, a fourth web and a zipper track that is arranged at an outer border of the third web and the fourth web. The zipper element extends from an overlapping region of the first web and the second web, and the zipper track is arranged outside of the overlapping region. Furthermore, in the overlapping region, the third web is fused with the first web and the fourth web is fused with the second web.
PACKAGE HAVING A CHILD-RESTRICTIVE OPENING FEATURE
A package is provided to make it more resistant to access by individuals, such as small children, while remaining simple enough for an adult to open. A feature, such as a top gusset or a breachable flange or flap, can be provided to promote the child resistance attributes of the package.
A BAG AND RELATED METHODS
A bag wherein in a first mode the mouth of the bag has a perimeter defined by the front panel and back panel and two sides of the bag closure. Strips at the mouth are not configured to close the bag in the first mode. The bag also has a second mode. This allows a second mode opening to the bag's containment region to be created. The perimeter of the second mode opening is defined by the two mutually engageable closure strips.

Child-deterrent packaging having a barrier to protect contents from surrounding environment
Child-deterrent packaging includes an enclosure having opposing first and second sidewalls coupled with each other. The child-deterrent packaging also includes a zipper assembly coupled with the first and second sidewalls of the enclosure. The zipper assembly includes first and second zipper portions that mate with each other to enclose product that release from each other to provide access to the product. The child-deterrent packaging also includes a peel seal providing a barrier to ingress of one or more of oxygen or moisture. The peel seal is one or more of: disposed between and coupling the first and second zipper portions with each other, disposed between and coupling an entry section of the first sidewall with the first zipper portion of the zipper assembly, or disposed between and coupling the entry section of the first sidewall with another portion of the first sidewall.
