All-glass travel mug
A beverage container for hot or cold beverages, where the lid and base are connected via a glass joint. The glass joint forms a seal between the lid and base and eliminates the need for a synthetic material to form such a seal. The base has a double wall construction forming a cavity between the two walls. One or more of the surfaces facing the cavity are coated with a thermally reflective coating, which along with the glass materials, reduces heat transfer to the external surroundings. The lid is formed by a glass shell with an internal cavity, where the internal surfaces defining the cavity are optionally coated with a thermally reflective coating to further insulate the beverage container.

CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR CLOSING AN OPENING OF CONTAINER
A container comprising: a container body that includes a wall portion separating inside and outside and is formed of a long-fiber-reinforced silicon-carbide composite material obtained by combining monofilaments of silicon carbide with a silicon carbide matrix, the wall portion having a thickness equal to a specific dimension; and a lid configured to close an opening of the container body, formed of a material containing at least silicon carbide, and equipped with such a wall portion separating inside and outside that thickness is within a range of 1 to 3 times the specific dimension.
Distillation key and method of use
A distillation key which functions as, or with, a stopper and extends into a distillation chamber with multiple rings extending out there-from is used to catch condensing vapors and prevent condensed vapors from re-condensing at a vacuum port at the bottom of the distillation chamber. The key has one or a plurality of rings which extend outwards from an elongated neck thereof, these rings situated and centered relative to vertical walls of the distillation chamber, in embodiments of the disclosed technology.
STOPPER FOR A BOTTLE AND SEALING ELEMENT FOR SAID STOPPER
The present invention relates to a stopper for a bottle designed for commercial bottling of a beverage or liquid food, preferably a wine bottle, and a sealing element for sealing the stopper in the mouth of the bottle, which is separate from the bottle. The stopper comprises a stopper part for introduction into a mouth of the bottle, and a head part for remaining outside the mouth of the bottle, the head part having a diameter that is larger than that of the stopper part, wherein the stopper part comprises a an interlocking mechanism for engaging with a counterpart interlocking mechanism of the sealing element. The sealing element is configured to be forced against an inner wall of the mouth, thereby being brought into a sealed position, upon introducing the stopper part into the mouth, in which sealed position the stopper is held on the bottle. The interlocking mechanisms are configured to permit bringing the sealing element into an unsealed position by an unsealing action which comprises rotating the stopper with respect to the bottle.
