DEVICES AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED DELIVERY OF OPHTHALMOLOGICAL MEDICATIONS
Disclosed are various embodiments for an apparatus for installation of eye drops, an automatic dispensing device, and a method to dispense eye drops. The apparatus including a dispensing device, a control system, and a housing. The dispensing device configured to dispense a dosage of a fluid medication from an eye drop bottle, the eye drop bottle having an opening. The control system operatively connected to the dispensing device. The housing comprising a main wearable headset and a cover. The housing configured to contain the dispensing device and the control system, and configured to allow passage of the dosage of the fluid medication through an aperture in the main wearable headset of the housing. Also, disclosed is an automatic dispensing device comprising a motor and detection system to dispense a fluid from a bottle.
SCREW CAP, TOOL AND METHOD FOR SCREWING A CAP ONTO A CONTAINER
Screw cap, loading piston, and method for aligning the screw cap and the loading piston in relation to each other and a method for screwing a screw cap onto a threaded neck portion of a packaging container. The screw cap can include a base portion having a top and a bottom surface, an annular portion raised from the base portion, the annular portion having an inner and an outer surface, and at least one first threaded portion arranged on the inner surface of the annular portion, wherein the base portion can include engagement means, such that the screw cap can engage a tool with at least one complementary engagement means in a process of screwing the cap onto the container with the complementary threaded neck portion.
Low weight closure having an improved gripping surface
A closure includes a top panel and a corner section connecting an outer periphery of the top panel with a downwardly extending annular skirt. A plurality of gently curved ridges are spaced about the outer perimeter of the closure. The ridges generally extend from a lower portion of the skirt and around the corner section, with the upper ends of the ridges terminating proximate the top panel outer periphery. A plurality of knurls extend radially outwards from the midpoints of the ridges along the skirt of the closure. The configuration, arrangement, and spacing of the ridges and knurls about the closure provide an enhanced grip and feel, allowing for easier twist-off of the closure from a container. The closure may be used interchangeably with existing capping chucks used to apply conventional closures without requiring any modification to the capping chucks to apply the closures to containers during a capping process.
CAPS FOR PAINT CONTAINER LIDS
Disclosed are caps for closing an opening in a lid for a container, such as a paint can or bucket, wherein the caps comprises top walls comprising on their top surfaces centrally disposed recesses configured to receive a tool to rotate the caps; and threaded cylindrical projections on their bottom surfaces.
Container and container engaging member suitable for vacuum assisted filtration
A container and a container engaging member. The container engaging member may include a sample holder or reservoir, a filtration element and collar. In the assembled condition, the sample holder or reservoir is upstream of the filtration element, the container is downstream of the filtration element, and the sample holder or reservoir is attached to the container. The container engagement member is engageable and disengageable from the bottle or container in a quick attach, quick release manner, such as with only a 90 degree, ¼ turn. A tactile and/or audible indication that the engagement is complete is provided.
Container with a lid and threaded closure mechanism
The container with a lid and threaded closure mechanism includes a receptacle having a mouth surrounded by a thread, a lid, a sealing ring and a closure mechanism formed by a disc with a hollow interior and a perimetral tubular skirt provided with an engagement configuration complementary to the thread of the receptacle. The closure mechanism surrounds the lid and holds it against the mouth of the receptacle by means of a threaded attachment between the engagement configuration of the closure mechanism and the thread of the receptacle, assuring proper hermetic closure of the lid with the receptacle in cooperation with the sealing ring. The lid and the closure mechanism have mutually engaging elements with a complementary non-circular geometry and size, with both elements being tightly fitted preventing relative rotation of the closure mechanism with respect to the lid.
Ergonomic Bottle Cap
The invention is an ergonomic bottle cap having a U-shaped support extending along opposite sides and across the top. The U-shaped support having a top fin across the top wall of the cap and two opposing side tabs extending from the top fin along the annular side wall of the cap. The side tabs integrally molded with the top fin and the cap.
Closure with force amplifying lever
A closure, for rotatably coupling with a container to cover an opening of the container, includes a lid and a lever. The lid includes a primary panel defining a top surface, a skirt configured to couple with the container, and a stop positioned adjacent the top surface of the primary panel. The lid defines an outermost perimeter, and a footprint of the lid is defined within the outermost perimeter. The lever is rotably coupled with the lid to rotate relative to the lid between a use position and a storage position. When the lever is in the storage position, the lever is maintained substantially within the footprint of the lid. When the lever is in the use position, the lever extends outwardly beyond the outermost perimeter of the lid contacting the stop of the lid such that force applied to lever is transferred to the lid via the stop.
CONTAINER ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING METAL CLOSURES AND THERMOPLASTIC CONTAINERS AND METHODS OF HOT-FILLING FOOD AND BEVERAGE PRODUCTS
Container assemblies are described herein that include a metal closure and a container including a plastic finish. The container assemblies may be characterized by improved performance including reproducibility of force needed to remove the closure. Furthermore, the container assemblies described herein may be compatible for use with hot-fill packaging processes.
Structure of mouth plug portion, and package
A structure of a mouth plug portion includes a nozzle and a cap, the nozzle includes a first outer protrusion and a second outer protrusion, the first outer protrusion includes a locking surface that locks the cap and a first guide surface spirally extending, the cap includes a cap body and a tamper band provided with a weak portion that can be broken by an external force received from the second outer protrusion during rotation of the cap body, the cap body includes a first inner protrusion and a second inner protrusion, an outer peripheral surface of the nozzle is provided with a second guide surface along which the first inner protrusion and the second inner protrusion can move in an axial direction.
