At least one bottom tool is structured to comprise aa lower contact surface and a cavity configured to receive the shell part. At least one top tool is structured to comprise an upper contact surface. The shell part is inserted into the cavity of the at least one bottom tool and the collar is placed on the lower contact surface. A barrier film is placed over the edge flange and pressed to form a tray that is filled with goods. A sealing film is then pressed against the barrier film to seal the goods within the tray.

A container configured for at least partially containing fresh meat can include a base panel above which an interior space of the container is defined. The base panel can be configured to support fresh meat, and elongate interior passageways can be at least partially defined by the base panel. Openings can be respectively open to the plurality of interior passageways for allowing fluid from the fresh meat in the interior space of the container to flow into the interior passageways. The container can be configured to at least partially retain the fluid in the interior passageways, including opposite end sections of at least some of the interior passageways being closed to at least partially define compartments for receiving and retaining the fluid.

A stackable box has side walls and end walls upstanding from a base, the box being formed from a single sheet of material cut and creased to provide, between each end of each side wall and the adjacent end wall, a diagonally creased panel, the diagonal crease extending from the intersection between the base, the side wall and the end wall. The side walls are folded over on to the base and the portion of each diagonally creased panel between the diagonal and the end wall being secured to the end wall, whereby, when the side walls are pulled upwardly and outwardly from the base, the end walls are lifted. Each side wall has along the upper edge thereof a ledge panel extending inwardly of the box and parallel to the base and the end walls each have a flap along the upper edge thereof which is foldable over to extend parallel to the base and to co-operate with the ledge panels to hold the box in shape and provide a continuous ledge surface around the open upper face of the assembled box. Each of the side walls incorporates a secondary side panel with a fixing strip therealong secured to the base whereby to form double side walls.
