A sampling device includes a container having a body defining a chamber and an opening to the chamber. A septum is bonded to the container to cover the opening and hermetically seal the chamber. The septum has an adherent layer with a first thickness and including a material configured to adhere to a rim of the container to provide a hermetic seal with the container. A metallic foil layer having a second thickness is coupled to the adherent layer. An elastomeric layer having a third thickness is coupled to the metallic foil layer to position the metallic foil layer between the adherent layer and the elastomeric layer. The third thickness is greater than the sum of the first thickness and the second thickness.

A fluid transfer hub has a first vessel closure, a second vessel closure, a gasket arranged between the first vessel closure and the second vessel closure, and a clamp at least partially surrounding the first vessel closure, the second vessel closure, and the gasket. The first vessel closure has a first body, one or more apertures extending axially through the first body, one or more first inserts extending axially through the one or more apertures, and a cast seal disposed within the first body and surrounding each first insert. The second vessel closure has a second body, one or more apertures extending axially through the second body, one or more second inserts extending axially through the one or more apertures, and a cast seal disposed within the second body and surrounding each second insert.

Fluoropolymer septum cap assembly

A cap assembly includes a base cap, a chemical resistant sheet, and a closure assembly. The closure assembly is configured for carrying the chemical resistant sheet. The closure assembly is mounted in the base cap. The base cap and the closure assembly together define a central cap assembly aperture therethrough.

TAMPER EVIDENT PLASTIC CLOSURE FOR VIALS FOR STORING SUBSTANCES FOR MEDICAL OR PHARMACEUTICAL APPLICATIONS AND USE THEREOF

The invention relates to a tamper evident plastic closure for necked vials, for holding a plug in a mouth of a vial, comprising: a tubular locking body configured to be locked at the neck of the vial, and a cap coupled with the tubular locking body. The tubular locking body comprises a retaining member for retaining the plug, a central opening being formed in the retaining member for providing access to the inside of the vial via the plug. The cap comprises a disc-shaped cover and a coupling portion, for coupling the cap with the tubular locking body by positive-fit engagement. The coupling portion comprises at least one frangible portion each configured such that at least one indicator member remains as a tamper evidence at a rim of the central opening of the tubular locking body after removal of the cap from the distal end of the tubular locking body by irreversibly breaking the annular frangible portion for providing access to the inside of the vial via the plug.

INTEGRATED CAP AND SEAL SYSTEM

A cap and seal system for a liquid medicament container. The system comprises a cap formed from a substantially rigid material and has a retention component integrally formed therewith. A seal is formed from a material which is less hard than the cap and positioned within the cap such that, when the retaining component retains the cap on a container in use the seal is positioned such that it forms a fluid tight seal between the cap and the container. A recess is formed in the seal through which a liquid outlet channel can pass in use to access the contents of the container via the cap and the seal.

Piercing cap and piercer

The present application relates to a system for dispensing fluid. The system includes a flexible container including a spout that is in fluid communication with an interior region of the container. The system includes a cap configured to be mounted to the spout. The cap includes an opening that leads to a membrane and a first retention mechanism located in the opening. The system includes a piercing tube having a first end configured to puncture the membrane and a second end configured to be connected to a dispensing tube. The piercing tube includes a seal bead and a second retention mechanism. The piercing tube is inserted into the opening of the cap such that the first end punctures the membrane, the first and second retention mechanisms engage each other to retain the piercing tube in the cap, and the seal bead sealingly engages the cap.
