The present application relates to a closure assembly for connection to a spout in fluid communication with a container. The closure assembly includes a housing configured to be secured to the spout and including a fluid passageway and a piercable membrane in the fluid passageway. The closure assembly includes a retention member configured to be secured to the housing and a flexible valve that is positioned in the fluid passageway of the housing and that is secured to the housing by the retention member. The closure assembly is configured to receive a piercing element that extends into the housing such that the piercing member can pierce the valve and the membrane, and the retention member has locking elements that engage the piercing element to lock the piercing element in place with respect to the assembly.

The neck part forms a seat (11) for a pre-shaped insert (5) and is integrally molded in the mold onto a circumferential surface (9) of the insert (5). The circumferential surface (9) is equipped with at least one surface irregularity (21) having an enclosed base surface such that, due to the integral molding of the neck part (1) onto the circumferential surface (9) of the insert (5), a positive fit is present between the insert and the neck part (1). The fit forms a fixing element. The axial extension of the base surface of the surface irregularity (21) is only a small fraction of the axial extension of the circumferential surface (9).

In some embodiments, at least a portion of the marble is dissolvable in the liquid stored in the container body. In some embodiments, upon the marble dissolving, the liquid content changes color, flavor and/or nutrients are released into the liquid content.

The method includes molecular bonding the flange annular bottom surface directly to the neck annular top surface. The method includes providing a closure and attaching the closure to the bottle.

In a first state, the formation unit and the lid are separated as the nozzle body and the support body are engaged. In a second state, the opening of the lid is formed as the nozzle body moves in a direction to approach the support body from the first state. In a third state, at least a part of the formation unit and the lid are separated as the nozzle body moves in an opposite direction from the second state.

A piercing fitment assembly for a thin film flexible container containing a liquid having (A) a spout assembly having a sealing flange sealed to the film of the flexible container and having positioned therein a circular piercing element with at least one piercing point in close proximity to the film of the flexible container; (B) a threaded plug fitted into the spout assembly and the bottom of the plug being sealed to the film of the flexible container; (C) a threaded collar positioned in the spout assembly and threadably engaged with the threaded exterior of the threaded plug; whereby when the threaded collar is moved to engage the threaded plug and the threaded plug is moved away from the film of the flexible container, the film of the flexible container is brought into contact with the piercing end of the piercing element and the film is pierced allowing the liquid from the container to flow out through the spout assembly and out of the flexible container.
