Stable Lactase Product
A method for the storage and delivery of a stable form of lactase to an infant as a dietary supplement. The lactase is stored first as a dry powder contained in a push cap. The push cap is then fixed to a bottle containing a plurality of anhydrous neutral oils. Once the push cap is fixed on the bottle, the push cap is pressed, releasing the lactase powder into the neutral oil. The bottle is then agitated to produce a mixture of lactase in the neutral oils. Finally, a dropper is used to deliver the stable lactase-oil mixture to the infant in need thereof.
Beverage container lid with reservoir and repetitive measuring and disbursement mechanism
A lid for a beverage container having a reservoir chamber for holding drink additive, a measurement chamber in fluid communication with the measurement chamber, and an upper chamber with a lower end in fluid communication with an upper end portion of the reservoir chamber. A plunger has an upper chamber seal, an upper seal and a lower seal, and an actuator moves the plunger between first, second and third plunger positions to dispense a measured drink additive in the measurement chamber into the container. The plunger has a central filler port to receive drink additive and an aperture in fluid communication with the reservoir chamber. The actuator includes a closure member closing the filler port and manually movable to move the plunger. A lock member is movable between locked and unlocked positions, and in the locked position prevents movement of the plunger from the first to the second plunger position.
BOTTLE CAP DESIGN WITH PRESSURIZED RELEASE
A bottle cap is disclosed, which includes a top portion, comprising a hingeable lid, a middle portion, comprising a reservoir for retaining a material, and a bottom portion, which is surrounded by a threading that further comprises a means for attaching to a bottle. The top portion of the bottle cap further comprises a depressible button for exerting pressure in said reservoir, wherein said reservoir further contains a means for releasing said material into said bottle upon the exertion of pressure from said depressible button.
Reconfigurable Container-Closure System
A reconfigurable container-closure system is comprised of first and second containers and first and second closures. The container-closure system can assume either of two configurations. First configuration means that the first closure (12) is secured to the first container (10), and the second closure (112) is secured to the second container (110). Also, an orifice reducer (113), cartridge (114) and sleeve (115) are all attached to the second closure (112), and two products are separated. Second configuration means that the second closure (112) is secured to the first container (10), and the first closure (12) is secured to the second container (110). Also, the orifice reducer (113), cartridge (114) and sleeve (115) are all attached to the first container (10), and two products are allowed to mix and be dispensed. The transfer is accomplished by a user who simply screws the second closure onto the first container (10).
MIXING CONTAINER COMBINED WITH DRINKING CONTAINER
A concentrate container that is coupled to a drinking container having an output for discharging a drink is proposed. The concentrate container has a chamber in which a concentrate is kept, an outlet through which a concentrate is put into the drinking container, and a container mouth for discharging a liquid mixture of the concentrate and a drink to the outside when the drinking container and the concentrate container are combined. The inner diameter of the concentrate container outlet is determined to be fitted on the drinking container outlet, a thread is formed inside the concentrate container outlet, and the thread is engaged with a thread of the drinking container outlet.
DEVICES FOR PRE-WETTING WIPES AT POINT OF USE AND METHODS OF USE
The present invention generally provides a towel wetting or pre-wetting device for the wetting of towels at the point of use. More specifically, the present invention provides for disposable towel pre-wetting devices which provide a point of use wetting for cleaning and disinfecting wipes or towels. Embodiments allow for activation of the towel pre-wetting device with a towel through the lid which temporarily unseals the bowl from the cap allowing fluid to be released from the reservoir to pre-wet a towel as it is extracted through the lid. Embodiments allow for the adjustment of the bowl relative to the cap which controls the volume of fluid to be released to wet the towel. The pre-wetting device is intended to be affixed to the top of a cylinder of towels. Thus the present invention solves the unmet need of providing for wet cleaning wipes or towels at the point of use.
AROMA CONTAINER AND DRINKING DEVICE HAVING AN AROMA CONTAINER
An aroma container for adding an aroma substance to an air flow flowing through the aroma container. The aroma container comprises an upper wall, a lower wall and at least one side wall, which surround an aroma chamber. The container includes at least one air inlet opening into the aroma chamber, and at least one air outlet opening out of the aroma chamber, wherein a carrier substance for the aroma substance is present in the aroma chamber. A head space may be provided between the carrier substance and the side of the upper wall facing the aroma chamber. The carrier substance comprises a nonwoven material, wherein the air permeability L of the nonwoven material at a differential pressure of 100 Pa is L≥200 l/(m.sup.2.Math.s), and preferably between 220 l/(m.sup.2.Math.s) and 280 l/(m.sup.2.Math.s).
