SET OF PANELS FOR AN ASSEMBLED PRODUCT
A set of panels including a first panel with a first main plane and a second panel with a second main plane. A first edge of the first panel is configured to be locked to a second edge of the second panel, wherein the first main plane is essentially perpendicular to the second main plane, and wherein the first and the second edges are locked in a first direction, which is perpendicular to the first main plane, and a second direction, which is perpendicular to the second main plane. The first edge includes an edge tongue, with a longitudinal direction along the first edge, including a bottom edge, a first surface and an opposite second surface. The edge groove and/or the edge tongue is/are configured such that a greater force is absorbed by the longitudinal central part than by an edge part at third and fourth edges.
Laminated dual-species stave
A dual-species barrel stave, the stave including a first portion that faces the interior direction of a barrel defined by a premium material such as American White Oak and a second portion that faces the exterior direction of a barrel defined by a second material, this second material of a different quality of wood that may not be intended to important aging and/or flavoring characteristics to the liquid within the barrel, is provided. The first stave portion defines a male projection or “tail” that commences at a first longitudinal end of the stave and widens substantially the entire length of the stave, terminating at the opposing longitudinal end of the stave. Cooperatively, the second stave portion defines a female dovetail groove that commences at a first longitudinal end of the stave and extends substantially the entire length of the stave, terminating at the opposing longitudinal end.
Crate spring clip fastener
A spring fastener clip for affixed crate panels together, which includes a pair of spaced apart panel bridging arms connected at a top to a pair of cleat bridging arms in the shape of a number 7. Extending downwardly from free ends of the cleat bridging arms first cleat end fingers, and extending between the first cleat end fingers is a bridge section. Extending forwardly of the bottom ends of the panel bridging arms are second cleat end fingers. An engagement pocket section extends rearwardly in the direction of the panel bridging arms and downwardly away from the cleat bridging arms. The engagement pocket section extends. The engagement pocket section provides an engagement for a prying tool that can be inserted into the engagement pocket when the spring fastener clip is in the process of and completely affixed to crate panels.
Pathogen eliminating article
An article including a first layer of a shielding material comprising a first surface and an opposite second surface. The article also includes an core material coupled to the first surface, wherein the core material is configured to eliminate pathogens located on the second surface.
Double-layer injection molding casing and method for manufacturing the same, electronic apparatus
A double-layer injection molding casing and a method for manufacturing the same, an electronic apparatus are provided by this invention, which adapts to an injection molding field and can solve the problems of a conventional double-layer injection molding casing such as complicated manufacturing process and low production efficiency. The double-layer injection molding casing of this invention includes an outer layer and an inner layer. A locating structure integrally formed with the inner layer is located at an inner surface of the inner layer. The method for manufacturing the double-layer injection molding casing includes: applying a multiple injection molding process, wherein the locating structure of the double-layer injection molding casing is integrally formed with the inner layer in the same injection molding step. The electronic apparatus of this invention includes the double-layer injection molding casing. The double-layer injection molding casing can be used as a casing of the electronic apparatus.
STAVE WOOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF STAVES OF WOOD CONTAINERS
A stave wood for the production of a stave of a wood container, having a first layer of a first wood and a second layer of wood. The second layer being a layer of a second wood different from the first wood. The first and second layers of wood being assembled together exclusively by a mortice and tenon joint with no adhesive binder. The face of the second layer opposite that intended to form an exterior face of the stave includes one or more tenons forming a projection thereon extending only along the longitudinal axis of the stave wood. The face of the first layer of wood opposite that is intended to an interior face of the stave includes a corresponding mortice for each tenon of the second layer of wood a extending along the longitudinal axis of the stave wood.
REDUCED WEIGHT PACKAGING SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT
A reduced weight packaging system for industrial equipment is provided. The packaging system includes a first module that defines a baseplate. A second module is superimposable on the baseplate. The second module defines an interior where the industrial equipment is to be housed during operation. At least a first portion of the first module is made from a wood-based material, such as mass timber, and the second module is made from the wood-based material. The packaging system may be designed to achieve at least the same strength ratings as non-wood materials like concrete and steel while maintaining a relatively lighter weight and reducing carbon emissions based on the reduced carbon footprint of wood-based construction materials compared to such non-wood materials.
