Can end
A can end has a public side and an opposing product side. A circumferential curl is located about a center axis and defines an outer perimeter of the can end. A circumferential wall extends downwardly from the curl. A circumferential, generally U-shaped countersink extends radially inwardly from the circumferential wall relative to the center axis and upwardly. A center panel extends radially inwardly from the countersink relative to the center axis and has a displaceable tear panel defined by frangible score and a hinge segment on the public side and a tab fixed to the public side which has a nose portion overlying a portion of the displaceable tear panel. A circumferential panel joins the countersink with the center panel and has a first panel radius joined to a second panel radius by a short wall extending upwardly and inwardly. The circumferential panel has a bead formed therein.
FRAME STRUCTURE FOR A BASKET
A frame structure for a basket has: a woven basket body and a frame portion. The basket body has a bottom portion and a sidewall portion disposed along an edge of the bottom portion and extending upwardly. The sidewall portion comprises an integrating portion at an end opposite of the bottom portion. The frame portion has a looped shape corresponding to the integrating portion of the woven basket body and comprises a connecting inner edge corresponding to an inner side of the frame portion and an outer edge corresponding to an outer side of the frame portion. The frame portion utilizes the connecting inner edge to secure onto the integrating portion of the woven basket body by welding, hot press or punching methods, and the outer edge of the frame portion is disposed adjacent to an outer edge of the sidewall portion.
Can shell and double-seamed can end closure
A drawn aluminum can shell has a peripheral crown which is double-seamed with an end portion of an aluminum can body to provide a can end having a generally flat center panel connected by an inclined curved or straight panel wall to an inner wall of an annular U-shaped countersink. The countersink has an outer wall which connects with a lower wall portion of a chuck wall, and the chuck wall has an upper wall portion which connects with an inner wall of the crown. The chuck wall also has an intermediate wall portion forming a break, and the inner bottom width of the countersink is less than the radial width of the panel wall.
Storage Device and Improved Basket Structure with Hooks
The present disclosure relates to a storage device made of expanded metal mesh material. The storage device comprises a basket (3, 5, 7, 9) with an attached fastening device (11). The fastening device has a portion with U-shaped cross section (21) provided with hooks (13) in the interior thereof, such that the fastening device can be fitted on a vertical carrier provided with slots, the hooks (13) entering said slots, and the fastening device is at least partly inserted in the outer envelope of the basket and has a portion (25) extending under the bottom panel of the basket.
CAN LID AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
By conducting a strict study on a plate thickness, a pressure resistance is improved while satisfying the demand for further reduction of the plate thickness.
A can lid has a center panel part, a panel wall part, a chuck wall radius part, a chuck wall part, and a curl part. t2>t1 holds, where t1 represents a plate thickness of the center panel part, and t2 represents a plate thickness of a bottom end of the panel wall part.
MODULAR AERIAL CARGO AERODYNAMIC ENCASEMENT
A modular aerial cargo aerodynamic encasement and a method for modular aviation cargo transport is provided. The aviation cargo aerodynamic encasement comprises a platform having a planar upper surface configured to accept cargo and a lower surface. The lower surface includes two or more ground supports displacing a portion of the platform from contact with a supporting surface. The platform includes two or more load transfer structures. The aviation cargo aerodynamic encasement further comprises a fairing configured to detachably couple to the platform, wherein the fairing, when coupled to the platform, forms an aerodynamic encasement, and wherein the aerodynamic encasement is detachably mountable to an aircraft by the two or more load transfer structures.
BACKFLOW SECURITY ENCLOSURE
A backflow security enclosure for maintained equipment is disclosed. The security enclosure includes a plurality of side panels joinable along an adjacent edge with an elongate rod. The elongate rod is received in a channel of a plurality of sockets disposed in a spaced apart relation along an adjacent edge of the plurality of panels. The plurality of sockets may be arranged in a hinge type configuration. A top panel is supported by the plurality of side panels when joined. A locking mechanism secures the top panel to at least one of the plurality of side panels. The side panels may be secured to a ground or wall surface to surround the equipment to be repaired or serviced by a technician.
