The present invention relates to a package of one or more articles, the package comprising a substrate comprising at least one film layer wherein the substrate forms a plurality of panels and an opening feature, wherein the panels define an interior compartment, and wherein the one or more articles are disposed in the interior compartment, wherein the substrate has a first tearing force in a first direction and a second tearing force in a second direction, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction, wherein the first tearing force is no greater than about 240 gf as measured according to Tearing Force Test, and wherein a ratio of the second tearing force to the first taring force is no less than about 1.35.

TOILET ROLL PACKAGE
Provided is a toilet roll package wherein toilet rolls are gusseted-packaged with exterior film, each roll being individually wrapped with resin film. The rolls are arranged in two rows between upper and lower sealed portions of the package with their circumferential surfaces abutting, the upper and lower sealed portions facing to the circumferential surfaces of the rolls. In an area of the exterior film closer to the upper sealed portion than position (P1) of adjoining between the rolls closest to the upper sealed portion, open start portion (60) convexed toward the upper sealed portion is formed. The open start portion (60) includes base portion (61) having an easy tear line extending along the top-bottom direction, and flaring portion (62) formed with easy tear lines flaring from close to a lateral side of the base portion toward the lower sealed portion with gradually increasing distance therebetween.

POUCH HAVING TRANSPARENT WINDOW WITH ANTI-COUNTERFEITING FEATURE
The present invention relates to a flexible package for providing security against counterfeiting. The flexible package includes a plurality of panels made of a flexible polymeric substrate, which further includes a front panel, a rear panel arranged in opposite to the front panel defining an interior space of the package and at least one longitudinal narrow window portion on at least one panel. A transparent or translucent polymeric security strip is having a clear high barrier coating, is sealed over the window portion towards inner side of the panel overlapping the edges of the window portion but not overlapping the entire panel, a security feature is provided on the strip on at least one of its surface at a predefined location or random places or all over the strip surface for securing the package against counterfeiting.
POUCH HAVING TRANSPARENT WINDOW WITH ANTI-COUNTERFEITING FEATURE
The present invention relates to a flexible package for providing security against counterfeiting. METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING PILLOW PACKAGES
To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing pillow packages provided with a fixing tape with high efficiency while preventing damage to the pillow packages. The method for manufacturing pillow packages includes placing a pillow package 1a among a plurality of pillow packages conveyed by a conveying section 21 on an inclined placement section of the conveying section 21 to incline the pillow package 1a in a predetermined direction to thereby expand the gap between a pillow package 1b placed next to the pillow package 1a on the conveying section 21 and the pillow package 1a and bringing a cutting blade 25 into contact with a string of double-sided tape 16 bonded between the pillow package 1a and the pillow package 1b to cut the double-sided tape 16.
WRAPPING MATERIAL FOR COMMERCIAL TOBACCO PRODUCTS AND PACKAGE FOR COMMERCIAL TOBACCO PRODUCTS
Provided are a wrapping material and package that are for commercial tobacco products, that are capable of tightly sealing commercial tobacco products, and that are environmentally friendlier than conventional materials and packages because of using less amount of resin materials. This sheet-shaped wrapping material is for forming a package that is for commercial tobacco products and that wraps the commercial tobacco products in a tightly-sealed internal containing portion. The wrapping material comprises: a paper base layer containing a fibrous cellulose material; an aluminum-containing layer that is layered on top of the paper base layer; and a heat seal layer that is formed as an outer layer on at least one side of the wrapping material, and that is a coating of a heat-sealing agent that heat-seals edges of the wrapping material together. The thickness of the heat seal layer is 0.5-5 μm.
