CONTAINER FOR A HEART PUMP DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A HEART PUMP DEVICE
The invention relates to a container (1, 1′, 1″) for a heart pump device (4, 8, 12, 17, 18, 19, 26) with a first receiving space (3) for a compressible and expandable heart pump (4), wherein the first receiving space is delimited on several sides, in particular on all sides, by one or more closure elements (5, 5′, 6, 6′ 6″) and is closed off to the outside for preventing a contacting of the heart pump, wherein the closure elements (5, 5′, 6, 6′ 6″) leave free an opening (7) for the passage of a catheter (8) from the outside into the first receiving space (3), wherein the diameter of the opening (7) is dimensioned such that the heart pump can pass this exclusively in a condition which is at least partly compressed compared to the expanded condition. For implantation, the heart pump in the container (1, 1′, 1″) can firstly be operated by trial in the container (1, 1′, 1″) whilst feeding a rinsing fluid and can then be pulled through the opening (7) amid simultaneous compression, into a sheath element (11).
WATER-SOLUBLE PACKETS
The disclosure provides a water soluble pouch including at least two sealed compartments, the pouch including outer walls including water soluble film including a water soluble resin, and an inner wall including water soluble film including a water soluble resin, the outer wall films being sealed to the inner wall film, the outer wall films being characterized by: a dissolution time of 300 seconds or less, the water soluble resin of the outer wall films having a viscosity in a range of 14.5 cP to 25cP, and a pouch strength of at least 200 N, and the inner wall film being characterized by: a dissolution time of 300 seconds or less, the water soluble resin of the inner film having viscosity in a range of 12 cP to 14.5 cP, and a tackiness value of at least 1500 g/s.
Separable extraction tab accessible blister card package
A disposable package is configured to promote recycling of its component parts. A thermoformed thermoplastic blister has a product bubble which extends from a peripheral flange to extend through an opening in a front card. The front card is affixed to a back card to close the product bubble and so as not to adhere to the blister flange. An extraction tab extends from the peripheral flange and is accessible on two opposed sides for gripping by a user to engage and remove the blister from the front card and the back card.
Custom packaging and process for forming the custom packaging
A package and a method of forming the package, the package including a primary package; an inner package provided around the primary package; an outer package provided around the inner package and the primary package, such that an air gap is formed between the inner package and the outer package, the outer package including two bodies that are configured to surround opposite sides of the inner package, respectively; and a tape configured to seal the two bodies of the outer package together.
POUCH PROVIDED WITH REINFORCED TUNNEL FOR DRINK SUCTION
The present invention provides a pouch having a liquid accommodation space for storing a liquid material therein, and in the pouch, boundaries of a first sheet material and a second sheet material are bonded to each other to form an upper fusion portion, a lower fusion portion, a first side fusion portion, and a second side fusion portion. In the liquid accommodation space, a dividing fusion portion is formed apart from the first side fusion portion, and a drink suction tunnel is formed between the dividing fusion portion and the first side fusion portion. The drink suction tunnel includes first and second curved portions which are formed by making the first sheet material and the second sheet material protrude outward between the first side fusion portion and the dividing fusion portion, wherein the first and second curved portions are formed by a thermoforming.
Films including a water-soluble layer and a vapor-deposited inorganic coating
Methods for making films including a water-soluble polymeric material and a vapor-deposited inorganic coating are disclosed. The method comprises providing a layer of water-soluble polymeric material and vapor depositing an inorganic coating to at least one surface of the layer of water-soluble polymeric material, wherein the inorganic coating comprises a metal oxide. The method further comprises forming a plurality of microfractures extending along the surface of the inorganic coating.
Separable Extraction Tab Accessible Multiple Blister Card Package
A disposable package is configured to promote recycling of its component parts. A thermoformed thermoplastic blister has front and back product bubbles which extend from a peripheral flange and are hinged together to be folded into a product compartment such that the product bubbles extend through openings in front and back cards. The front card is affixed to the back card to close the product bubble and so as not to adhere to the blister flanges. A front extraction tab extends from the peripheral flange and is accessible on two opposed sides for gripping by a user to engage and remove the blister from the front card and the back card.
CONTAINER
A container includes a container main body that is composed of a main-body forming sheet member and surrounds a containing portion, wherein the container main body includes a first surface portion, a second surface portion that is arranged so as to face the first surface portion with the containing portion being arranged therebetween, and a gusset portion which connects the first surface portion and the second surface portion to each other. The gusset portion is provided with a discharge port that discharges a contents from the containing portion. The main-body forming sheet member includes a main-body sealing portion in which a plurality of film layers are attached to each other, a non-attached region in which the plurality of film layers are partially non-attached to each other, and a filling portion in which a filler can be enclosed between layers of the plurality of film layers in the non-attached region.
Recyclable flexible films and bags for packaging flowable materials
The disclosure provides ethylene/α-olefin copolymer based co-extruded, multi-layer films, including barrier films and non-barrier films, and articles of manufacture that include the films, such as flexible bags and containers for flowable materials. The films and articles that include the films have improved flex-crak resistance and toughness. The films and articles that include the films have good barrier properties as the barrier films include a core layer of ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer having a high ethylene content. The low amount of EVOH copolymer in the total film that is needed to achieve the flex-crack resistance, toughness, and good barrier properties, further allow for the recycling of the films and articles of manufacture.
SHEET MEMBER CONTAINER
A sheet member container having one or more sheet members including a main-body forming sheet member in which a plurality of film layers including an inner film layer and an outer film layer are stacked; a containing portion that accommodates contents; a container main body including the main-body forming sheet member, and surrounding the containing portion; and a peripheral edge sealing portion in which the one or more sheet members are folded along a folding line, and peripheral edge portions of the one or more sheet members are attached to each other.
