RESEALABLE BAG WITH INELASTIC DEFORMABLE POLYMER
The resealable bag has a main body including a resealing layer. The resealable bag is selectively positionable between an open, unsealed position and a closed, sealed position. When the resealable bag is in the closed, sealed position, the resealing layer is in a deformed shape. Advantageously, the resealable bag can be repeatedly rolled and sealed, and unrolled and unsealed, as desired without the use of additional integrated or non-integrated sealing mechanisms.
REHEATABLE FOOD PRODUCT
A method for producing a reheatable food product includes mixing butter, maltodextrin and breadcrumbs so as to form a butter mixture, obtaining a first slice of bread and a second slice of bread, spreading the butter mixture onto a first surface of the first slice of bread and a first surface of the second slice of bread, applying 5 g to 70 g of a filling to the second surface of the first slice of bread, positioning the second slice of bread on the filling such that the second surface of the second slice of bread is adjacent thereto to form the food product, grilling the food product until the first surfaces are golden brown, and compressing the food product to a thickness of 0.56 inches to 0.75 inches while grilling, freezing the food product to a frozen state, reheating the food product.
BIODEGRADABLE REFRESHMENT CONDIMENT SYSTEM
This system is an eco-friendly refreshment condiment system comprising: a container comprising filter material having a rear panel, first side panel and second side panel so that when the first side panel and the second side panel are joined at a seam, a container if defined; a set of packaging contents disposed on the container having one or more items taken from the group of consisting of a sugar packet, sweetener packer, stirring stick and napkin; and, wherein the filter material is
eco-friendly, degradable, biodegradable, compostable, recyclable and any combination thereof and comprises filaments having greater than 20 mm diameter. The system can include a stirring stick made from wood. The filter material and set of packaging contents can be configured for a one-time use. The panels can be affixed to each other using a biodegradable adhesive.
A CONTAINER HAVING A SEALED COMPARTMENT
There is provided a container (4) for consumer goods, the container (4) comprising a first substrate layer (8) and a second substrate layer (10) overlying the first substrate layer (8). A first portion (3) of the first substrate layer (8) and a first portion (5) of the second substrate layer (10) form a compartment region (7), wherein a perimeter (18) of the compartment region (7) is completely sealed to form a sealed compartment (16) for containing one or more consumer goods. A second portion (9) of the first substrate layer (8) and a second portion (11) of the second substrate layer (8) form an access region (13) directly adjacent to the compartment region (7). The access region (13) comprises an unsealed area (22), wherein a perimeter (20) of the access region (13) extends around the unsealed area (22). The first substrate layer (8) is attached to the second substrate layer (10) at the perimeter of the access region. The unsealed area (22) is separated from the sealed compartment (16) by the completely sealed perimeter (18) of the compartment region (7). The container (4) further comprises a first line of weakness (128) extending at least partially within the unsealed area (22) of the access region (13) in the first substrate layer (8) only, the container (4) further comprising a second line of weakness (131) in the second substrate layer (10) only. The second line of weakness (131) has a different shape to the first line of weakness (128), wherein the difference in shape between the first line of weakness (128) and the second line of weakness (131) defines a closure tab (143) in the second substrate layer (10) in the unsealed area (22) of the access region (13).

The unsealed area (22) is separated from the sealed compartment (16) by the completely sealed perimeter (18) of the compartment region (7). The container (4) further comprises a first line of weakness (128) extending at least partially within the unsealed area (22) of the access region (13) in the first substrate layer (8) only, the container (4) further comprising a second line of weakness (131) in the second substrate layer (10) only. The second line of weakness (131) has a different shape to the first line of weakness (128), wherein the difference in shape between the first line of weakness (128) and the second line of weakness (131) defines a closure tab (143) in the second substrate layer (10) in the unsealed area (22) of the access region (13).
PACKAGING POLYMERS
A packaging material including a polymeric film surrounding a plastic mass form material. In embodiments, methods include packaging sticky plastic mass form polymers within a polymeric film to prevent agglomeration. Processes include the use of a polymeric film composition that is compatible with the core plastic mass form. The polymeric film can be applied to the plastic mass form through continuous coextrusion, as a film through a hot melt form, fill, and seal process, or as a sealed film bag for inclusion of cooled and coated or uncoated solid sticky plastic material shapes.
