WEB AND METHOD FOR MAKING FLUID FILLED UNITS
An elongate flattened thermoplastic tube has an inflation edge and an opposite edge. The tube includes spaced transverse seals that define sides of pouches. The tube includes lines of weakness that allow adjacent dunnage units to be separated. A frangible line of connection is disposed in one two superposed layers of the tube proximate to the inflation edge. This frangible connection may be broken to permit inflation of the inflatable pouches.
Product packaging
A unit-dose packaging for a product comprising a chain of blister packs, the chain of blister packs being arranged in an alternating manner and having foldable regions between each blister pack in the chain of blister packs, characterised in that after use of the product, a chain of emptied blister packs forms a concertina fold, wherein all the blisters are of the same shape in the chain of blister packs such that the repeating units of the chain of blister packs are linked in such a way that their cavities fit into each other when stacking in an alternating way.
Packaged oral care implement and packaged set thereof
A packaged oral care implement that includes a package and at least one oral care implement. The package may include a blister package having a receiving cavity and a flat panel coupled to the blister package to close an open end of the receiving cavity. The flat panel may include a first window aperture. A transparent film may be placed onto a front surface of the flat panel to cover or otherwise close the first window aperture.
Multi-compartment article dispensing package
A multi-compartment package for dispensing plural items is disclosed. The package includes plural individual sealed compartment units which are releasably secured to each other. Each compartment unit includes a flanged base from which a chamber depends. The chamber serves to hold an item to be dispensed and is surrounded by a flange. A closure member, in the form of a respective portion of a frangible cover sheet, is adhesively secured to the flange of each compartment unit. Each compartment unit includes at least one foldable tab in a corner of its flange, which can be folded down to enable the closure member to be removed from the compartment unit after the compartment unit is separated from other compartment units of the package.
Flexible, Plastic Bag Having a Resizable Storage Space
A flexible, plastic bag has a resizable storage space which includes reclosable internal compartments. The bag includes a body portion having first and second opposing bag walls. Each of the bag walls has first and second wall portions with internal surfaces. The bag also includes first and second reclosure mechanisms on the internal surfaces of the wall portions. The reclosure mechanisms are spaced apart and at least partially define the reclosable, internal compartments. The bag further includes first and second overlapping tear seams separating and connecting the first and second portions of the first and second bag walls, respectively and located adjacent the second reclosure mechanism between the reclosure mechanisms to allow the first portions of the first and second walls to be completely severed from the second portions of the first and second walls along a prescribed tear pattern delineated by the tear seams.
Inflatable packaging with tear initiation feature
An inflatable web is disclosed. The web includes first and second film plies sealed together via a plurality of generally transverse seals to define a first and second inflatable chambers and an inflation region. The chambers are inflatable with a fluid and operable to contain the fluid. The sealed plies have a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge. The web defines a separation region extending at least partially transversely across the web between the first and second inflatable chambers and is configured to facilitate separation thereof. The separation region includes a tear propagation line extending transversely across at least a portion of the web with an end of the tear propagation line terminating proximal to the first longitudinal edge of the web. The separation region includes a tear initiation feature including edges spaced apart from one another longitudinally to form a permanent opening in the web.
Waste Treatment Package and Formulation for Treating Toilet Waste
A waste treatment includes a package with compartments. A surfactant, an oxidizing agent, and, optionally, a liquid may be disposed within the compartments. The oxidizing agent is within a compartment that does not contain the surfactant or the liquid. A bursting force may unseal a sealed end of each compartment. The liquid flushes the surfactant and the oxidizing agent out of the package into a non-contact agitating toilet. A dual compartment package made with a fluidly disintegrable material may separate the surfactant from the oxidizing agent where the liquid may not be provided. The waste treatment may be mixed with a waste deposited within the non-contact agitating toilet. The package may disintegrate in the presence of the liquid to allow the reactive components to mix. A plurality of waste treatments may be connected. A perforated barrier may separate a first waste treatment from a second waste treatment.
Multi-Chamber Detergent Single Dose Packs With Detachable And Reattachable Functionality And Methods Of Using The Same
A multi-chamber single dose pack includes a first water-soluble film, a second water-soluble film adhered to the first film, a first chamber and second chamber formed by the first film and the second film, a first detergent wash composition in the first chamber, a second detergent wash composition in the second chamber, a perforated tear line between the two chambers allowing separation of the two chambers by hand without opening either chamber, and a water-soluble adhesive disposed along an outward-facing portion of either or both of the first and second films. The water-soluble adhesive is configured to allow the attachment of at least one further chamber including a further wash composition.
Method of forming a gusseted stand-up flexible pouch
A gusseted stand-up flexible pouch including a pouch-forming structure. The pouch-forming structure including first and second body panels, first and second side gussets, a bottom gusset and at least one interior gusset. The bottom gusset extends between the first and second body panels. Each of the first and second side gussets is joined to the first and second body panels. The at least one interior gusset is joined to the first and second body panels. The at least one interior gusset is located between the first and second side gussets. The at least one interior gusset divides an interior of the stand-up flexible pouch into a plurality of compartments.
