A package includes a lid with a peel initiator portion, a remaining portion, and a lid-flange portion. The package further includes a tray. The tray includes a rigid component and a liner component including a liner-flange portion. The package further includes an adhered area which includes a seal between the peel initiator portion and the liner component. The lid-flange portion includes the peel initiator portion and the remaining portion. The adhered area includes the lid-flange portion of the peel initiator portion and the liner-flange portion. Further, the adhered area includes 90 percent or less of the peel initiator portion.
Peelable lid for container with multi-point peel system
A peelable lid system includes a peelable lid, a seal configured to seal the peelable lid to a container, a handle coupled to the peelable lid, and a lifting mechanism coupled to handle. The lifting mechanism can be coupled to the peelable lid at a plurality of attachment points, including at least one attachment point coupled to the peelable lid away from the handle. The lifting mechanism can be configured to lift at least one portion of the peelable lid near each of the plurality of attachment points.
CONTAINER FOR MICROWAVE OVEN
An object is to provide a microwave container configured to precisely discharge vapor from a vapor-discharging part to avoid any vapor discharge from the remaining portions, and the microwave container includes: a container main body having an opening in its upper portion; a flange part formed to extend outwardly from the opening of the container main body; and a heat-seal part in a rib shape formed over the entire periphery of an upper surface of the flange part and heat-sealed to a film-shaped lid member for sealing the opening, wherein the heat-seal part includes a first heat-seal part for discharging vapor generated in the container main body by breaking the heat seal with the lid member when the vapor reaches a predetermined pressure, and a second heat-seal part wider than the first heat-seal part.
Packaging Seal Bar And Method Of Forming A Package Using The Same
A sealing plate for use with a packaging machine that integrates a seal formed indicia into a portion of a package seal. A package having a seal formed indicia integrated into the package seal, which when the package is opened undergoes undergo a visual transformation, and a method of making the same.
Container for dispensing a substance
A container containing a substance, comprises a preformed deformable body defining a filling cavity. The body has an opening and an integral planar circumferential rim surrounding said opening. The opening is closed by a cover sheet which is sealed to the circumferential rim by means of a circumferential sealing seam, wherein the circumferential rim has a dispensing part which is covered by the cover sheet. The cover sheet is sealed to the dispensing part by at least one rupturable sealing seam and outlet seams defining an outlet passage from the rupturable sealing seam towards a dispensing edge of the dispensing part of the circumferential rim, such that, when the rupturable sealing seam is broken, the substance is allowed to flow through the outlet passage between the surface of the dispensing part and the cover sheet towards the dispensing edge of the dispensing part. The dispensing part and the cover sheet are configured and mutually arranged such that the edge portion of the cover sheet and the dispensing edge do not overlie each other.
Lidded container
A lidded container, which enables contents to be poured from a specific part, is provided. A closing seal portion joining a lid to a flange portion of a container comprises: a main seal portion having a first end and a second end; and a projecting seal portion having one end and the other end connected to the first end and the second end of the main seal portion and projecting toward the opening of the container. A width of a leading end portion which is a portion of the projecting seal portion, which is closest to a center point of the opening of the container, is smaller than a width of an opposing portion which is a portion of the main seal portion, which intersects with a center line passing through the leading end portion of the projecting seal portion and the center point of the opening of the container.
Container for microwave oven and package for microwave oven
The objective of the present invention is to provide a container for microwave oven and a package for microwave oven in which a clearance which is formed between a flanged portion and a lid material and a content may enter is made narrower while maintaining automatic vapor discharge function.
PLASTIC CONTAINER HAVING A WIDE OPENING SEALED BY A FLEXIBLE TOP LID, AND PRODUCTION METHOD
The container has a blow molded piece forming a hollow plastic body. The body has a bottom and an annular side wall longitudinally extending from an annular base to a top. A thin flexible lid of foil material covers and seals a wide top opening of the container. The top is connected to the outer rim of an annular top flange. The top flange protrudes radially inward and delimit the opening at an inner rim. The lid is axially adhered to the flange upper face and can be peeled away, optionally using a pull tab that extends beyond the outer rim. Except at region of the pull tab, the annular outer edge of the lid extends parallel to the outer rim, not beyond 1.0 or 2.0 mm from the outer rim.
