PACKAGING WRAPPER FOR FOOD PRODUCTS
The packaging wrapper for gluten-free food products includes a multilayer sheet, including in turn one layer of polymeric material having at least one aperture and a layer of porous filter material coupled to the layer of polymeric material and positioned so as to cover the aperture.
BREATHABLE FILM
A film comprising a perforated layer, wherein the perforated layer is characterized by water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) of at least 300 gr/m2/day; and wherein the perforated layer is characterized by a liquid permeability of less than 0.6 gr when measured according to AATCC 35. Further, methods of manufacturing the composition of the invention are provided.
Product transport containers
Product transport containers are disclosed. Such containers can provide one or more advantages compared to existing containers. For example, product transport containers described herein can maintain a product at a desired temperature for an extended period of time, including without the use of an active heating or cooling component. Such product transport containers described herein may also provide improved breathability, thermal insulation, and/or mechanical strength or dimensional stability. Such containers can include a plurality of walls defining an interior volume and a selectively openable side permitting movement of the product into and out of the interior volume of the container. The walls can be formed from a thermoformed non-woven fabric.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR PRESERVATION OF ARTICLES
An apparatus includes a container for preservation of articles defining an atmospheric control mechanism that maintains an internal atmospheric composition within the container such that an interior cavity of the container that is devoid of various contaminants including UV radiation, dust, oxygen, water, atmospheric moisture (humidity), reactive oxygen species, airborne chemical pollutants and/or airborne chemicals not conducive to the longevity or preservation of the articles to be protected. As such, the container protects and preserves articles by preventing decay and deterioration of the articles due to light, temperature, dirt, mold, humidity, hydrolysis due to moisture in the air, and oxidation with exposure to air.
CONTAINER FOR PACKAGING UNITS
The present disclosure describes a container that includes a body having a lower surface, an upper rim, and a plurality of side walls that extend between the lower surface and the upper rim, wherein the upper rim defines an opening to an interior space of the body, a flexible cover that covers the opening of the body and is bonded to the body along the upper rim, and gas-permeable material through which gas can enter and exit the interior space of the body. The upper rim of the body is spaced apart from any of the gas-permeable material, such that the cover can be peeled away from the upper rim to expose the opening while leaving the gas-permeable material intact.
PACKAGING FOR FRUIT AND VEGETABLES WITH ANTIPATHOGEN BARRIER AND PRODUCTION METHOD
The presence of pathogens in fresh food is the cause of food loss and the spread of diseases and death in humans. Packaging disclosed herein includes a semi-rigid or flexible package for fresh fruits and vegetables, which incorporates an antipathogenic barrier using carbon allotrope ink and air filters. An embodiment of a packaging container is formed of a body and a paperboard lid, the body having a geometric pattern printed in its interior with antipathogenic ink. The container body includes a bottom with a hollow window, covered by two or more layers of microperforated polymeric films that have an air filtration function. A version of a semi-rigid cellulose lid incorporates a hollow window, covered by two or more microperforated polymeric films. Further disclosed is a portion of the container made of cellulose material and printed with antipathogenic ink.
Container and preparation method thereof
A container and a preparation method thereof are provided. A material forming the container includes at least two types of oxidized nanocelluloses interlaced with each other, the at least two types of oxidized nanocelluloses being configured to have different degrees of expansion after absorbing moisture in a same environment. In a dry condition, the at least two types of oxidized nanocelluloses do not expand, so the structure of the container is relatively dense and the air permeability is poor, which can sufficiently maintain moisture of an article stored in the container. In case the article itself or other reasons cause high humidity, different oxidized nanocelluloses of the container expand after absorbing moisture, so that gaps between different oxidized nanocelluloses becomes larger, and the air permeability of the container becomes better, which can discharge excessive moisture, enabling the container to self-adjust the air permeability based on humidity.
HUMIDITY CONTROL MATERIAL FOR FRUITS AND VEGETABLES, STORAGE CONTAINER FOR FRUITS AND VEGETABLES, AND METHODS OF PRESERVING FRUITS AND VEGETABLES
An object of the present invention is to provide a humidity control material for fruits and vegetables, capable of preventing the surface of fruits and vegetables from causing condensation, while preventing the surface of fruits and vegetables from drying. Means for solving the problem is a humidity control material for fruits and vegetables comprising a bag having moisture permeable and waterproof film and water retained inside the bag.
Wrapper and three-dimensional package with steam venting feature for hot food items and method
A wrapper and three-dimensional package for toasted and other hot food items that includes a sheet with an array of perforations extending through the sheet material between an inner face of the sheet material adapted to contact the food item, and an opposite, outer face of the sheet material. Spicules are formed from the sheet material surrounding each of the perforations and extending away from the inner face of the sheet material. The spicules form standoffs defining an air gap between the food item and the sheet material when the food item is contained in the wrapper, with the spicules engaging an outer surface of the food item to enable lateral migration of steam from the food item, along the air gap and through the perforations.
PRODUCT TRANSPORT CONTAINERS

For example, product transport containers described herein can maintain a product at a desired temperature for an extended period of time, including without the use of an active heating or cooling component. Such product transport containers described herein may also provide improved breathability, thermal insulation, and/or mechanical strength or dimensional stability. Such containers can include a plurality of walls defining an interior volume and a selectively openable side permitting movement of the product into and out of the interior volume of the container.
