CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL TRANSPORT CONTAINER FOR NEW MATERIAL DELIVERY AND USED MATERIAL REMOVAL
A construction material transport container includes four side doors that form substantially all of two side walls of the container. The container includes transversely disposed forklift pockets that can be used to load the container onto a flatbed truck. With the container on a truck and the side doors open, new construction materials can be loaded onto the container from both sides. Both the container and the new materials can be delivered to a job side by a single delivery using a truck-attached forklift. The empty container can then be used as a receptacle for recyclable materials. The container further includes roll-off or hook lift vehicle tracks configured so that the container can be picked up and hauled to a recycling or refuse center. A rear door of the container can be opened so that the container can be tilted by the vehicle to offload the used material.
Method and apparatus for storage and transportation of cargo
A stackable cargo container apparatus has a frame assembly formed by interconnected structural members, a substantially planar base, interconnecting side walls and at least one personnel access door. At least one lifting harness member of unitary or singular construction is operationally attached to the frame assembly, and permits lifting of the cargo container apparatus from its bottom and away from welds or other possible weak points. An integrated cargo weight measurement assembly permits quick and efficient determination of cargo weight placed on the planar base, and includes a digital display or other output device.
CONTAINMENT BASIN SYSTEM AND METHOD
A containment basin system includes a basin and a lifting brace configured to be secured to and stabilize the basin for lifting and emptying operations. The basin includes a bottom wall, three or more side walls, and a lip extending around a top of all of the side walls. The bottom wall includes two transverse recesses. The lifting brace includes a base, two guide rails extending perpendicularly from the base, and two receptacles extending perpendicularly from the base. The two receptacles of the lifting brace are configured to engage the two transverse recesses of the basin. Each of the receptacles includes a central space dimensioned to receive a fork of a fork lift. The two guide rails each includes an upper guide and a lower guide configured to receive the lip of the basin therebetween.
PLASTIC ROLL-OFF CONTAINER
A plastic roll-off container is disclosed, including a roll-off container comprising a front side and a rear side. The roll-off container is configured, via a first rail and a second rai positioned on a bottom side of the roll-off container, to be onloaded, offloaded, and transported by a roll-off truck or a hook lift roll-off truck. An integrally molded sidewall is connected to a bottom having a concave shape to facilitate the removal of a material from an interior of the roll-off container.
PORTABLE WIND TURBINE
A portable wind turbine is adjustable between an operating configuration and a stowed configuration. The portable wind turbine comprises a turbine tower and a base. The base includes a floor and a pair of opposing sidewalls. The base includes four lower corners. The base is configured to store the turbine tower when the portable wind turbine is in the stowed configuration. The turbine tower is oriented in an upright manner such that the turbine tower projects upwardly away from the floor of the base when the portable wind turbine is in the operating configuration. An outrigger is attached at each of the four lower corners of the base when the portable wind turbine is in the operating configuration.
CONTAINER HAVING A SPRING-COUNTER-BALANCED RAMP WALL
A container for transporting and storing landscaping materials includes a rectangular container body having a bottom wall, a pair of side walls, and an end wall which define an open-ended chamber; and a vertical ramp end wall that is pivotally displaceable between a normal vertical closed position, and a downwardly inclined loading position, which pivot arrangement includes a pair of horizontal pivot shafts arranged collinearly transversely of the container on opposite sides of the protruding ends of a pair of guide rails that extend longitudinally beneath the bottom wall. To afford manual operation of the massive ramp wall, a counter-balancing spring arrangement is provided including a pair of torsion springs mounted concentrically on these two pivot shafts for biasing the ramp wall from the loading position upwardly toward the closed position with an aggregate torque force that is generally equal to the weight of the ramp wall.
Dump body for a working machine
A dump both for a working machine includes two main plates for creating a load receiving surface. The two main plates are joined to each other by a weld joint. The dump body includes a backing plate arranged on the two main plates at the inside of the dump body. The backing plate covers the weld joint and is joined to the two main plates by the weld joint.
Container having at least one lockable crossbar assembly movable along tracks
A container for holding product therein during shipment and being returned for reuse has at least one track supported by each side of the container. The container has at least one lockable crossbar assembly extending between opposed tracks. Each lockable crossbar assembly has one or more locking assemblies to fix the position of the lockable crossbar assembly relative to the tracks.
BULK MATERIAL CONTAINER
A bulk material container includes a cuboid support structure having floor and roof frames supporting sheet metal cladding with floor wall, side walls and end walls completely closed, without loading and unloading openings. The roof frame delimits a roof opening for loading and unloading bulk material. The floor frame has a forklift pocket formed of tubular cross supports with a closed cross section and outwardly open ends in a container transverse direction. Unloading includes engaging a forklift in the pocket for tilting the container until bulk material falls out of the open roof. To increase container rigidity during unloading, the forklift pocket is a component of a U-shaped hollow support reinforcement, at which the pocket transitions into vertical reinforcement hollow supports at floor reinforcement nodes on both sides in the container transverse direction. The vertical reinforcement hollow supports are attached to the roof frame, forming roof reinforcement nodes.
Method for coating a five-sided container with sag-resistant water-based coating compositions
The present invention provides a water-based coating and/or coating system used to form sag resistant wet layers or coatings on a wide range of substrates. The coating system is effective for protecting metal-containing substrates, such as intermodal cargo containers, against corrosion. As an overview, the present invention provides water-based compositions as primer coats on substrates, and methods for applying the same to substrates. The method includes steps of applying a water-based paint to the interior surfaces of a substrate and drying the substrate by continuously forcing heated air onto the substrate as it moves through a drying chamber. Desirably, the primer incorporates a high level of one or more CAS agents for excellent sag resistance while drying in a broad range of relative humidity environments. Alternatively, modifications can be made to control temperature and humidity during spray application and drying as a way to increase sag resistance of the coating.
