Several shunts are distributed along a perimeter of the floating roof. The shunts extend over the primary seal and under the secondary seal. The shunts are attached to the primary seal and shoe seal by connections distributed along the shoe seal. The shunts are also attached to the primary seal, the secondary seal, and the rim of the floating roof by connections distributed along the rim.
