MODULAR BARRIER FOR LIQUID STORAGE TANKS
A system for providing a modular barrier in a covered or enclosed storage tank is provided that reduces the amount of vapors released from liquid hydrocarbons and other liquids. The modular barrier is, in some embodiments, comprised a plurality of objects operable to form a barrier over a surface of stored liquid contained in the storage tank. The plurality of objects, when inserted into the storage tank, covers the surface of the stored liquid and conforms to a shape of the tank.
Intermodal container reducing the pollution of the environment
A device forming a stackable container that can be used to transport products includes a portion forming a crate defining a base and four side walls and a top wall, secured to one another in a sealed manner, made mainly of a plastic material; a door for sealingly closing the crate, forming with the crate, when closed onto same, a sealed box; a system for drawing and compressing gases contained in the closed box; and at least one tight casing for storing the drawn and compressed gases, rigidly connect to the box and forming a bracing frame during transport and a flotation buoy when the container is immersed in water.

Compressor for carbonated beverage containers
A compression device allows for compressing a carbonated beverage container, for maintaining the container in a compressed state, and for releasing the container from the compressed state when desired. In one embodiment, the compression device (100) includes a first frame (101), a second frame (102), a first linking frame (103) and a second linking frame (104). The frames are joined together by hinge connectors (111, 112, 113, and 114), forming a quadrilateral enclosure or compression assembly that accepts a PET bottle. A hinge controller (119), associated with the first hinge connector (111), is operative to control compression and release of the bottle.

Systems, methods, and assemblies for improvement of explosion and fire resistant properties in fluid containers
The present invention includes systems, assemblies, and methodologies for inhibiting combustion within fluid containers, enhancing the safety of such containers. One aspect includes a novel base module from which assemblies of varying shape and size, suitable for disposing within a variety of different fluid containers, are created. In one embodiment, the base module is made from an expanded mesh which is rolled in a novel cylindrical configuration according to a novel methodology. In another embodiment, the base module may be combined with other base modules to form an assembly.
External floating roof tank shell extension
The invention relates to an inexpensive technique and procedure to add storage capacity to existing hydrocarbon storage tanks that have a double seal floating roof. The additional storage capacity is obtained by installing an extension that is strong enough to provide the upper seal of the double seal arrangement to maintain a sealed vapor space that allows the roof to move higher within the existing peripheral wall of the storage tank.
