A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, an energy storage device, a body, and an electric power take-off system. The energy storage device (e.g., a battery) is supported by the chassis and is configured to provide electrical power to a prime mover. Activation of the prime mover selectively drives the refuse vehicle. The body is configured for storing refuse, and is supported by the chassis. The electric power take-off system is positioned on the body and includes an inverter, an electric motor, and a hydraulic pump that is drive by the electric motor. The inverter receives electrical power from the energy storage device and supplies electrical power to the electric motor. The electric motor drives the hydraulic pump to convert the electrical power into hydraulic power.
Refuse body adapter
A refuse body adapter includes a sub-frame assembly, a sub-frame adapter, and a spacer. The sub-frame assembly is configured to be coupled to a cargo body. The sub-frame adapter is configured to be coupled to a chassis of a vehicle. The spacer is coupled to both the sub-frame assembly and the sub-frame adapter. The spacer is disposed in a gap formed between the sub-frame assembly and the sub-frame adapter. A thickness of the spacer may be adjusted to accommodate different gap sizes between the sub-frame assembly and the sub-frame adapter.

A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a battery, a vehicle body, an electric power take-off system, and a lifting system. The chassis supports a plurality of wheels. The battery is supported by the chassis and is configured to provide electrical power to a first motor. Rotation of the first motor selectively drives at least one of the plurality of wheels. The vehicle body is supported by the chassis and defines a receptacle for storing refuse. The electric power take-off system is coupled to the vehicle body and includes a second motor configured to convert electrical power received from the battery into hydraulic power. The electric power take-off system is positioned within the receptacle. The lifting system is coupled to the vehicle body and is movable relative to the receptacle using hydraulic power from the electric power take-off system.
Interchanging method and arrangement for interchanging load units
Various examples of arrangements and methods are provided for loading and unloading first and second load units carried by a vehicle. A landing device is arranged between a first end of the first load unit and a second end of the second load unit so that a first portion of the landing device is supported to the first end of the first load unit and a second portion of the landing device is supported to the second end of the second load unit. The landing device can move the first end of the first load unit into a lower level than the second end of the second load unit after the first end of the first load unit is moved so that it passes the second end of the second load unit.
WASTE COMPRESSION CONTAINER COLLECTION CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A waste compression container collection control system includes: a waste compression container compressing and accommodating waste input thereto, discarded by users, and transmitting detection information, obtained by at least one sensor, in real time; a collection vehicle driver terminal of a collection vehicle driver of a collection vehicle collecting the waste compression container in which waste is accommodated; and a collection control server receiving at least one piece of detection information from the waste compression container, determining whether or not to collect the waste compression container using the received detection information, automatically assigning a collection vehicle to collect the waste compression container to be collected, and transmitting a collection instruction message to the corresponding collection vehicle driver terminal in real time.
PACK THROUGH EJECT PANEL
There is disclosed a waste collecting device having a container for receiving waste therein. The container has an end wall and an ejector panel. The container encloses a waste receiving volume. The ejector panel has an opening therethrough for allowing access to the waste receiving volume for receiving the waste. The waste collecting device further has a compactor outside the waste receiving volume being operable for pushing the waste in the container through the opening. The ejector panel is movable within the waste receiving volume and relative to a floor of the container for pushing the waste out of the waste receiving volume. A method of operating a waste collecting device is also disclosed.

ADJUSTABLE CANOPY FOR A REFUSE VEHICLE
A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a body configured to store refuse, a cab coupled to the chassis, and a canopy assembly extending directly above the cab. The canopy assembly includes a main body fixedly coupled to the chassis and an adjustable panel movably coupled to the main body and selectively repositionable relative to the main body.
