HOT MELT ADHESIVE SUPPLY AND METHODS ASSOCIATED THEREWITH

A melter melts particulate hot melt adhesive into a liquefied form. The melter includes a heated receiving device having an interior with an inlet that receives the particulate hot melt adhesive and an outlet. The heated receiving device melts the particulate hot melt adhesive and directs the liquified hot melt adhesive to the outlet. A prepackaged container holds a supply of the particulate hot melt adhesive and includes an outlet. A particulate hot melt adhesive feed device allows the particulate hot melt adhesive to be directed from the outlet of the prepackaged container to the inlet of the heated receiving device.

A melter for heating and melting particulate hot melt adhesive into a liquefied form is disclosed. The melter includes a heated receiving device having an interior with an inlet configured to receive the particulate hot melt adhesive and an outlet. A collapsible chute for conveying materials with a tubular main body of flexible material with an entrance opening, an exit opening, and a body portion between the entrance and exit openings. A first reinforcing band is fixed to surround the body portion adjacent to the entrance opening, and a first plurality of loops is spaced along the first reinforcing band. A second reinforcing band is fixed to surround the body portion spaced from the first reinforcing band and spaced from the exit opening, and a second plurality of loops is spaced along the second reinforcing band. A third reinforcing band can be fixed to surround the body portion between the first and second reinforcing bands, and a third plurality of loops is spaced along the third reinforcing band. A method for debris removal comprises affixing the entrance opening of the body portion of the main body to an opening of a building structure and evacuating debris through the main body of the collapsible chute.

Feeding carriage for compressor machine and use of same

The invention relates to a feeding carriage for a compressor machine of the type having an upper filling end through which a particulate material which is to be compressed in a mold of the compressor machine is introduced, and a lower discharging end for discharging said particulate material towards said mold. At least some of the elements forming said feeding carriage can move with respect to one another, which thereby allows modifying the geometry of at least one of said lower discharging end, said upper filling end and an intermediate portion of the supply carriage located between both ends. The invention also relates to the use of such a feeding carriage comprising the initial steps of determining optimum carriage geometry for a particulate material which is to be compressed and applying said optimum carriage geometry to the feeding carriage.
