MAGNETIZED HOME POSITION FOR ACTUATED PART
An actuation assembly that uses a magnetic field to dispose/retain a first part in a home position is disclosed. An actuation force may be exerted on the first part to move the first part from a home position to an actuated position. A biasing member of the actuation assembly may be used to move the first part from its actuated position back to its home position. The magnetic field may be used to reduce the amount of overtravel of the first part as it is moved back to its home position by the biasing member, may be used to retain the first part in this home position, and/or may be used to establish the home position.
Brake device for a conveyor system
A brake device for a conveyor system where pallets are conveyed on a transport plane, comprising a body having a first section and a second section, where the first section is provided with a pivot element comprising an inclined landing zone with a second nose, and where the second section comprises an inclined contact surface with a first nose, where the brake device is pivotably suspended on an axle, where the brake device is adapted to hold a first position in which the first nose extends over the transport plane, where the brake device is adapted to hold a second position in which the second nose extends over the transport plane, and where the brake device comprises a damper element arranged between the pivot element and the first section of the body of the brake device.
Locking roller assemblies for roller conveyors
Locking roller assemblies for locking and unlocking a roller of a roller conveyor. The disclosed locking roller assemblies include rollers that, by default, are locked from rotation in the absence of a transferred object such as a container, crate, or pallet. When an object is present over the roller, the roller is passively actuated by the object to unlock and release the roller, enabling the roller to rotate. When the package or article has passed by the roller, the locking roller assembly resumes the default configuration of locking the roller to prevent rotation. In some embodiments, actuation of the locking mechanism is parallel to the roller axis and accomplished by a lever and cam arrangement. In other embodiments, actuation of the locking mechanism is in a direction that is orthogonal to the roller axis and accomplished by a plunger arrangement.
Conveyor cartridge with braking mechanism
A conveyor system comprising a conveyor cartridge removably coupled with a first side plate and an opposite second side plate that delimit a direction of the conveyor cartridge transverse to transport direction. Conveyor rollers rotatably mounted to axles and extending a conveyor roller width between the first side plate and the second side plate. Braking mechanism positioned internally in the cartridge frame in between the first side plate and the opposite second side plate. The braking mechanism abuts the conveyor rollers to retard rotation of the conveyor rollers.
STOP DEVICE FOR A CONVEYOR SYSTEM
A stop device for a conveyor system where pallets are conveyed on a transport plane, including a body having a stop surface, where the body of the stop device includes a pivot element including an inclined landing zone and a nose, where the brake device includes a damper element arranged between the pivot element and the body of the brake device, where the stop device includes an actuating means adapted to position the stop device in a stop position in which the nose and the stop surface extends above the transport plane, and where the actuating means is adapted to position the stop device in a bypass position in which the nose and the stop surface are positioned below the transport plane.
Grouping unit and method to form groups of hygiene absorbent articles in a packaging machine
Grouping unit and method to form groups of hygiene absorbent articles in a packaging machine; a conveyor which receives the single hygiene absorbent articles in an input station is provided, which feeds the hygiene absorbent articles along a grouping path, and releases the groups of hygiene absorbent articles in an output station; wherein the conveyor has a belt which is closed so as to form a ring, is wound around at least two pulleys, and supports a plurality of blades, which extend perpendicular to the belt and delimit, between one another, respective pockets, which are each designed to hold a corresponding hygiene absorbent article; an active braking device is provided, which is arranged at the input station so as to cooperate with a pocket arranged in the input station to slow down the movement with which a corresponding hygiene absorbent article enters the pocket.
Brake assembly for conveyor system
A brake assembly for a conveyor system includes a first bracket, a second bracket and a brake member. The first bracket is configured to receive a channel of the conveyor system. The second bracket is spaced from the first bracket and configured to receive the channel of the conveyor system. The brake member is pivotally connected to the second bracket. A pivot axis about which the brake member is configured to pivot is disposed outwardly of the second bracket. A biasing member is configured to bias the brake member inwardly.
Carrier brake for pneumatic transport system
The present application discloses braking devices for use in a pneumatic tube system (PTS). The braking devices are adapted for in-line incorporation with a pneumatic tube and are operative to stop a pneumatic carrier within a pneumatic carrier system. The in-line braking devices allow for decelerating a carrier to a stop over a distance to reduce the forces applied to a carrier and its contents.
