Forage harvester material applicator system and related method
11641802 · 2023-05-09 · ·

A system and related method of applying forage treatment material to harvested forage is provided. The method can include harvesting forage, rotating a flexible auger in a bin and in a curved or angled part of a tube to convey a granular treatment material toward harvested forage moving in a chute to mix the material with the harvested forage. The system can include a flexible auger having a helical blade that extends around an auger central passageway. The auger rotates and augers the granular treatment material with the blade out of the bin. The auger can extend into a curved portion of the tube, taking on a curved configuration extending into the curved portion so that the auger extends along a curvilinear axis and includes a curvilinear portion that is rotationally constrained in the tube.

CONTACTLESS DRIVE THROUGH FACILITY HAVING AN ORDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A contactless drive through facility includes a set of parking bays aligned substantially in parallel, wherein each parking bay is dimensioned to accommodate a customer vehicle therein. The drive through facility further includes first and second overhead wires traversing the set of parking bays, wherein the first and second overhead wires are spaced apart from each other. The drive through facility further includes a set of order processing units moveably suspended from the first overhead wire and a carrier member moveably suspended from the second overhead wire. The drive through facility further includes an order management system to operate each order processing unit for facilitating an order placing process and a payment process by corresponding customer vehicle. The order management system also operates the carrier member for moving a set of delivery containers fulfilling corresponding ones of one or more orders placed using the set of order processing units.

ENERGY TRANSMISSION IN A LINEAR TRANSPORT SYSTEM
20240217749 · 2024-07-04 ·

A method for transmitting energy from a stationary unit of a linear transport system to a movable unit of the linear transport system. The linear transport system includes a movable unit and at least one further movable unit, a guide rail and a linear motor. The movable units include energy-transmitting coils. The following steps are carried out by a controller: determining that the movable unit requires an amount of energy to carry out an application that cannot be provided via energy transmission between energy-transmitting coils of at least one stationary unit to the at least one energy-receiving coil, and outputting control signals to at least one stationary unit for positioning the further movable unit in a transmission position on the guide rail immediately in front of or behind the movable unit, and for coupling energy-transmitting elements of the further movable unit to energy-transmitting elements of the movable unit.

TRANSPORT UNIT OF A LONG STATOR LINEAR MOTOR
