Multi-Chamber Funnel Hopper
A multi-chamber funneling hopper having at least first and second frustum-shaped containers, with the second container being disposed above the first container. The first container includes a first inwardly-sloping wall and three non-inwardly-sloping walls, the walls defining a first chamber having a first inlet and a first outlet positioned below the first inlet and of smaller area than the first inlet. The second container has a second inwardly-sloping wall and three non-inwardly-sloping walls, the walls defining a second chamber having a second inlet and a second outlet of smaller area than the second inlet and as large as the first inlet of the first container. The first container and the second container define a vertical axis passing therethrough, and the first and second containers are positioned relative to each other so that the second inwardly-sloping wall is rotated in a horizontal direction approximately ninety degrees relative to the first inwardly-sloping wall.
Product leveling device within a tank
The invention provides a product leveling system within at least one tank or particulate material supply compartment that helps to encourage uniform movement of an agricultural product out of the bottom of the compartment. More specifically, the invention relates to a product leveling system that helps monitor areas in which agricultural product is prone to starving and also prone to accumulation, such that quantities of the agricultural product can be diverted from the areas prone to accumulation to the areas prone to starving. For instance, at least one leveling device having a driving shaft and a helical coil may be rotatably mounted within the compartment and rotated to encourage agricultural product to be moved from areas of accumulation to areas where the agricultural product is more quickly removed, resulting in starving. The product leveling system may include three coils mounted about the compartment.

System and method for converting a commodity trailer with gravity discharge slide gates to be compatible with a pneumatic outlet gate and an interchangeable pneumatic gate therefor
A system and method for enabling a commodity trailer having conventional gravity discharge slide gates to operate with a pneumatic discharge configuration on an as-needed basis is provided. A pneumatic discharge gate, which supports a pneumatic discharge assembly, is configured to directly replace the gravity fed hopper gate and to be retained on the same hopper structure that supported the slide gate so that the slide gate and the pneumatic discharge gate, and the uses thereof, are fully interchangeable.
Modular material delivery system and method for setup
The present invention is a modular system for delivering material directly to a blender hopper. The system includes primary base and optional secondary base modules supporting surge hoppers which receive material from material containers. The surge hopper may then dispense the material directly and rapidly to the blender hopper by gravity feed. During continuous operation, exhausted material containers may be removed from the surge hoppers and replaced with full material containers as material empties from the surge hoppers. This allows steady, high-volume flow of material to the blender hopper.
Silo dust collection
Granular material flows out through the discharge opening of a silo and through a sealed housing to a target location. A vent opening in a top portion of the silo has a vent cover operative to selectively open and close the vent opening. When the vent cover is closed, air movement into an upper portion of the silo is prevented. A gate is operative to control a flow of granular material through the discharge opening. A vacuum conduit has a lower input end thereof connected to an interior of the housing, and an upper output end thereof located in an upper portion of an interior of the silo. Material flowing out of the silo creates a vacuum drawing dust from the housing up the vacuum conduit into the silo.
Method of delivering, storing, unloading, and using proppant at a well site
A proppant discharge system has a container with an outlet formed at a bottom thereof and a gate slidably affixed at the outlet so as to be movable between a first position covering the outlet to second position opening the outlet, and a support structure having an actuator thereon. The container is removably positioned on the top surface of the support structure. The actuator is engageable with gate so as to move the gate from the first position to the second position. A conveyor underlies the container so as to receive proppant as discharged from the container through the outlet. The container is a ten foot ISO container.
Proppant discharge system and a container for use in such a proppant discharge system
A proppant discharge system has a container with an outlet positioned in a bottom thereof and a gate affixed adjacent the outlet so as to be movable between a first position covering the outlet to a second position opening the outlet, and a support structure having an actuator thereon. The container is removably positioned on the top surface of the support structure. The actuator is engageable with gate so as to move the gate from the first position to the second position. A conveyor underlies the container so as to receive proppant as discharged from the container through the outlet. The container can be a ten foot ISO container.
