PARCEL SINGULATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Parcel processing systems and methods. A method for singulating parcels includes receiving an input stream of a plurality of parcels (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) including at least a leading parcel (1) and a lagging parcel (2) in a singulator system (10). The method includes updating position information of the leading parcel (1) and the lagging parcel (2) on a list (1650). The method includes determining a leading speed of the leading parcel (1). The method includes determining an actual gap between the leading parcel (1) and the lagging parcel (2). The method includes determining a speed factor between the leading parcel (1) and the lagging parcel (2). The method includes setting a lagging speed of the lagging parcel (2) according to the leading speed and the speed factor. The method includes controlling conveyors (20) to transport the leading parcel (1) at the leading speed and to transport the lagging parcel (2) at the lagging speed.
Multiline transfer of product
The present invention relates to a conveyor device, comprising a surface for receiving products that is longitudinally wound around drive means in the form of at least one first drive roller and around at least one return roller, characterized in that said receiving surface comprises a first independent section and a second independent section, said first section extending along a first part of the length of said surface, by winding around said first drive roller and around said return roller, said second section extending along a second part of the length of said surface, distinct from said first part, by winding around a second drive roller. The invention further relates to a dedicated method for conveying products, where the advancing speeds of the sections are controlled independently of each other.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GROUPING INTO BATCHES BUOYANT OBJECTS WITH DYNAMIC HYDRAULIC SUPERPOSITION OF THE OBJECTS
The invention relates to a method and a device for grouping into batches fragile buoyant objects, such as buoyant fruit, in at least one accumulation channel with hydraulic superposition of the objects held in a superposition zone against a closed holding/releasing device so as to hold the objects. During a step of accumulating objects in an accumulation channel (11), an elevation (17) extending upwards from the bottom (19) of the accumulation channel (11) is moved upstream in said superposition zone (18) from the downstream end (13) of the accumulation channel (11) as the objects are being supplied so as to cause a superposition of the objects held in the superposition zone between said elevation (17) and the holding/releasing device (14).
APPARATUS FOR TRANSFERRING AND ACCUMULATING OBJECTS AND PACKAGING LINE COMPRISING SAID APPARATUS
An apparatus for transferring and accumulating objects. The apparatus includes at least a first group and a second group of accumulation channels parallel to each other. Each accumulation channel having an elongated extension along a direction parallel to an accumulation direction between a loading end and an unloading end of objects. The accumulation channels of the first group having the loading ends aligned with each other and the accumulation channels of the second group having the loading ends aligned with each other. The apparatus further includes at least a first and a second transfer device for transferring objects to said accumulation channels. The first and second transfer devices receive objects in an alternating manner and the loading ends of the accumulation channels of the first group are misaligned with respect to the loading ends of the accumulation channels of the second group.

PRINTING MACHINE WITH CONVEYOR BELTS FOR CONVEYING SHEETS
A printing machine includes a first conveyor belt and a downstream second conveyor belt for transporting sheets. A guide element is disposed between the conveyor belts to guide the sheets. A blower device is provided to lift a leading edge of a respective sheet in a region of transition from the first conveyor belt to the guide element.

The method includes controlling conveyors (20) to transport the leading parcel (1) at the leading speed and to transport the lagging parcel (2) at the lagging speed.
Actuation of a conveying system
An apparatus receives data from at least one detection device which regularly detects single items on a sorting surface of a conveying system. Here, a separately actuatable drive element is assigned in each case to a plurality of partial surfaces of the sorting surface. The device regularly determines a region on the sorting surface taken up by the respective single item on the basis of the obtained data by means of triangulations for as long as the single item is situated on the sorting surface. The device determines control commands for actuating the drive elements, which are assigned to a partial surface and correspond to a specific region on the sorting surface taken up by the respective single item, on the basis of a destination at the sorting surface provided for the respective single item. Then, the device actuates the drive elements with the determined control commands.
Boxing apparatus
A boxing apparatus erects packages that can be erected along a limited section of a conveyor, without having to erect them all at once, even with individual packages that are long in the feed direction. The boxing apparatus has a fourth conveyor belt that blocks the front of a line of incoming packages and exerts an upward force on the front package. The front package is raised up by this upward force, so the following package rides up onto the package in front, and the packages are erected successively. Consequently, even individual packages that are long in the feed direction can be erected at a limited section of a third conveyor belt.
