DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING PRODUCTS
A device for conveying products within an industrial line, comprising a conveyor transporting a stream of products along at least one line. The device comprises at least one main zone delimited by primary beacons and covering a segment of the stream; and above the conveyor, at least one member for detecting the primary beacons and for counting the number of products at least inside the main zone. Also a method for conveying products, in which a stream of products is transported along at least one line and, by means of primary beacons at least one main zone is delimited, covering a segment of the stream; the primary beacons are detected and the number of products in the main zone is counted.
Packing method of packing articles into a packing box, and corresponding packing device
A packing method of packing articles into a packing box comprises pre-grouping articles on a pre grouping surface provided by a pre grouping conveyor belt of a pre grouping conveyor, and providing the articles from the pre-grouping surface of the pre-grouping conveyor belt into the packing box. This is done consecutively by providing one of a cassette box and the packing box at a discharging end of the pre-grouping conveyer; moving downwards said one of the cassette box and the packing box while driving the pre grouping conveyor belt such that the pre-grouped articles on the pre-grouping conveyer-belt moves towards the discharging end of the pre-grouping conveyor and the opening of said one of the cassette box and the packing box, and that the articles of the pre-grouped articles are discharged from the pre-grouping conveyor belt into said one of the cassette box and the packing box and onto one another; and, in case the articles of the pre-grouped articles are provided into the cassette box, providing the articles from the cassette box into the packing box.
Robotic surgical tool with pivotable transmission linkage on translating carriage
An automated system for singulating items is provided. The automated system includes a singulation apparatus. The singulation apparatus includes multiple conveyor modules and a vertical frame structure. Each of the multiple conveyor modules has an identical physical structure. The vertical frame structure provides multiple horizontal mounting locations, each at a different height along the vertical frame structure. Each of the conveyor modules is mounted to a different one of the multiple horizontal mounting locations.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED SORTATION
System and method are provided where parcels or packages are associated or grouped, into logical group or logical containerization of parcels or packages, without need for physical container, such that parcels or packages can be tracked as a group, for example with a unique group ID. Logical group may be tracked within specified logical zone on conveyor, transported, sorted and/or otherwise processed as unique logical group without need to be contained in physical container. System and method for automated sortation can accumulate set number or set volume of packages, and then process the accumulated set number or volume of packages.
RETAINER FOR A PACKAGE HANDLING ARRANGEMENT
A package handling arrangement and method for grouping packages filled with liquid food product includes a transportation belt that transports the packages in a downstream direction, a guide member arranged on one side of the transportation belt, a grouping arrangement that receives the packages from the transportation belt and groups a predetermined number of the packages together, and a retainer that is arranged on an opposite side of the transportation belt relative to the guide member. The retainer has a plurality of flexible elements angled relative to the transportation belt. Each flexible element is configured to flex to enable passage of a package in the downstream direction, and to retract from a flexed position after passage of the package, to prevent movement of the package in an upstream direction.

Multi-belt conveyor system with removable cartridges
A multi-belt conveyor is described. The multi-belt conveyor comprises a base assembly comprising a base frame that extends along a length of the multi-belt conveyor. Further, the multi-belt conveyor comprises a conveyor bed having a plurality of cartridges positioned adjacently to each other and mounted to the base frame. In this regard, each cartridge of the plurality of cartridges comprises a set of conveyor belts configured to move in a direction along the conveyor bed at a defined speed. Further, in accordance with example embodiments, a cartridge of the plurality of cartridges is configured to be removed from the conveyor bed without removing an adjacent cartridge from the plurality of cartridges. Further, each cartridge of the multi-belt conveyor comprises an actuation assembly comprising: a drive pulley, a roller-slider bed comprising a plurality of rollers, and the set of conveyor belts mounted around the roller-slider bed and the drive pulley.
Horizontal-flow-type apparatus for automatically transporting reagent cartridges
The present invention relates to a horizontal-flow-type apparatus for automatically transporting reagent cartridges. The apparatus includes: a magazine (110) in which a plurality of reagent cartridges (1) is stacked; a conveyer belt (120) having a plurality of separating projections (121) arranged in a conveying direction to horizontally separately convey the reagent cartridges (1); a driving motor (130) for driving the conveyer belt (120); a feeding unit (140) for feeding the reagent cartridges (1) stacked in the magazine (110) onto the conveyer belt (120); an examining unit (150) disposed over the front end of the conveyer belt (120) to examine the reagent cartridges (1); and reagent cartridge aligning members (161, 162) disposed in the conveying line of the conveyer belt (120), opposite to the examining unit (150), to align the reagent cartridges (1) in position.

System and method for automated sortation can accumulate set number or set volume of packages, and then process the accumulated set number or volume of packages, including automatically closing a container filled with the packages.
CONVEYING MEMBER WITH ROLLER MECHANISM
A conveying member for a conveyor includes a conveying element with a main surface, and a roller mechanism having a roller holder and at least one roller with a physical roller pivot. The roller holder can interact with an actuating device, is arranged on the conveying element and is designed such that the roller pivot is movable relative to the main surface of the conveying element between a first position and a second position. In the first and second positions of the roller pivot, the roller projects partly beyond the main surface of the conveying element. In the first position of the roller pivot, the roller assumes an arrested position in which rotation of the roller is arrested, and in the second position of the roller pivot, the roller assumes a freewheel position in which the roller rotates freely.
