Device for feeding product in sheets into an insertion device before a digital printer

The invention relates to a device for feeding products in sheets into an insertion device before a digital printer, including a lifting system for a stack of laminar elements, which in turn includes an extraction mechanism for the last board, an insertion system with an advance mechanism, a rotation system for the stack(s), a positioning stop, connected to an advance and reverse mechanism, a squaring and scaling station, able to create a loading and accumulating hopper, and a telescopically-adjustable transportation system, with the capacity to move the previously-scaled sheets until the insertion device is fed.

PLATE MATERIAL CONVEYING SYSTEM

To provide a plate material conveying system configured to load plate materials produced by a press work onto a tray at regular intervals, prior to a cleaning process.

The plate material conveying system comprises: a feeding section 13 that feeds the plate materials produced by the press work at regular intervals; a storage section 14 that stores the plate materials conveyed sequentially from the feeding section 13; a loading section 15 that loads the plate materials stored in the storage section 14 on the tray opposing thereto at one time; and a discharging section 16 that conveys the tray from a site to be opposed to the storage section 14 to a predetermined site.

Automated accumulator

An automated accumulator incorporates independently operated infeed and outfeed ramps. These ramps on an internal end provide access to a plurality of storage flights that define a stacked conveyor, allowing both the upstream and downstream portions of the production line to operate relatively independently of the other. On the external end, the ramps couple to prior art conveyor systems. The automated accumulator incorporates an electronic control system combining a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or equivalent and a plurality of sensors in combination with various motors to provide suitable automated operation, including First In First Out (FIFO) operation to preserve production sequence. In addition, various techniques may be used to selectively control operation of the automated accumulator, providing such functions as stopping infeed on a particular product, or providing linear bypass through the accumulator.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR STACKING FOOD PORTIONS, IN PARTICULAR PATTIES

The invention relates to an apparatus for stacking portions made of food mass, in particular patties, comprising a feeder conveyor belt for feeding the portions in a conveying direction and for dispensing the portions at one end of the feeder conveyor belt, a vertical conveyor arranged downstream from the feeder conveyor belt, for conveying the portions in a substantially vertical direction and having at least one substantially vertically movable platform for receiving portions downstream from the feeder conveyor belt. The vertical conveyor is so designed that at least one portion and in particular a plurality of stacked portions can be dispensed from the platform for further transport. The feeder conveyor belt is also mounted and drivable in such a way that the end of the conveyor belt facing the vertical conveyor can be moved vertically up or down in a continuous or intermittent manner while the portions are being conveyed.
