FIREWOOD HANDLING DEVICE
The invention relates to a firewood handling device for firewood pieces (6), comprising a conveyor (1), including one or more rotating, endless chains (9), wherein the conveyor extends from an input end (2) to an output end (4). The conveyor chains are provide with carriers (10), which project outwards from the outer sides of the chains and extend across and on a distance from each other in relation to the longitudinal extension of the conveyor such that spaces are formed between the carriers into which firewood pieces (6) can be positioned having their longitudinal extension across the longitudinal extension of the conveyor. The carriers (10) are formed with at least two, not cut through slots or recesses (42, 43, 44) from below as well as from above which overlap each other, wherein the conveyor (1) in its output end (4) is provided with at least two inner guiding members (45) as well as with at least two outer guiding members (46). Both the inner and the outer guiding members are provided with smooth upper sliding surfaces and are mounted such that the sliding surfaces (45′) of the inner guiding members extend and have an increasing height in the conveying direction and are positioned such that they are aligned with the slots or recesses extending from below in the carriers, whereas the sliding surfaces (46′) of the outer guiding members extend and have a decreasing height in the conveying direction and are positioned such that they are aligned with the slots or recesses extending from above in the carriers, and wherein the sliding surfaces of the inner and the outer guiding members extend essentially without interruption or somewhat overlapping in relation to each other as seen in the conveying direction.
Component for feeding robots, automation systems and the like
Described is a component (1) for powering robots, automation systems and the like which comprises, on a frame (2), a series of belts (3, 4) for conveying objects (9) designed to be gripped by a robot. The conveyor belts (3, 4) constitute a closed path and have a first belt (3) and at least a second belt (4) positioned in such a way that the objects (9) pass from the first belt (3) to the second belt (4) cyclically and continuously.
Conveying device
The invention starts from a conveying device (10c) having at least one transport unit (20′c, 20″c) for transporting packaging blanks (12c) and/or containers (14′c, 14″c) in a transport direction (16c) along a transport path (18c), wherein the transport unit has at least one conveying element (24′c, 24″c) which can be driven along a section (22c) of the transport path (18c). It is proposed that at least one conveying element (24′c, 24″c) has a rear side (26′c, 26″c) which in at least one operating state is intended to pull packaging blanks (12c) and/or containers (14′c, 14″c) in the transport direction (16c), and a front side (28′c, 28″c) which in at least one operating state is intended to push packaging blanks (12c) and/or containers (14′c, 14″c) in the transport direction (16c). The invention also relates to a packing machine comprising such a conveying device.
AUTOMATED GEMSTONE FEEDING
Examples of automated gemstone feeding are described. According to an example, a gemstone feeding machine includes a conveyor belt assembly to feed holders carrying gemstones. The conveyor belt assembly can include a plurality of conveyor belts in two sets positioned parallel to each other and the two sets can move in opposite directions. Each belt in one set can be positioned alternately with respect to each belt in the other set. The assembly can include a fixed guiding plate at a first end of the conveyor belts and a detachable guiding plate adjacent to the loading assembly at a second end of the conveyor belts. The fixed guiding plate and the detachable guiding plate each comprises a plurality of transition profiles in alignment with immediately adjacent conveyor belts.
CONVEYOR DISCHARGE WITH DIVERTING ROLLERS
A sorting system having a main sorting conveyor sorting articles to discharge conveyors feeding articles to diverters having freely rotatable, gravity-activated rollers arranged in an inclined plane. The orientations of the rollers are selectably changed to divert articles riding downward along each diverter to different destinations. The main sorting conveyor comprises a roller belt with belt-roller actuators at sorting locations. The belt-roller actuators and the diverters are identical mechanisms.
