Actuating apparatus for actuating a separating device for a gravitational conveyor
A separating device for a gravity conveyor, comprising a conveying plane (E) along which an item (30) is conveyable in a conveying direction (F), and an actuating means (50), which comprises a first actuating member (51), which can be moved into an actuated position by conveyed items (30) being moved in the conveying direction (F), and a second actuating member (52), which can be moved into an actuated position by conveyed items (30) being moved counter to the conveying direction (F). When at least one of the first and second actuating members (50, 51) is actuated, a movement of the at least one separating stop (40) from the position above the conveying plane is blocked, and when the first and second actuating members (50, 51) are unactuated, a movement of the at least one separating stop (40) to a position below or flush with the conveying plane is enabled.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY MOVING OBJECTS BETWEEN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
Embodiments provide for a conveying system to move multiple articles from one location to another. The conveying system may use a transport device to grasp each article from an initial location, rotate the articles away from the initial locations, move the articles linearly, and rotate the articles to destination locations. Rather than moving each article one-by-one, in the embodiments described herein, the conveying system can move multiple articles simultaneously to various locations where each location may contain a different process to perform on the article. Moving multiple articles simultaneously shortens the time required to process the articles.
Grouping station for grouping pallets
A grouping station for grouping pallets includes an inbound conveyor, which is a gravity conveyor. The grouping station includes a fixed-height pairing conveyor and a grouping conveyor with three height positions for different grouping functions.

TRANSPORTING SYSTEM
In a transporting system, a first conveyor includes a transport surface to transport different size tires in a first direction. A first positioner positions an end of a tire transported by the first conveyor, at a first predetermined position in the first direction. A second positioner positions an end of the tire at a second predetermined position in a second direction horizontally perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The first and second clamping portion portions are at or adjacent to a clamping position, and pass through between a tire first portion at or adjacent to an end of the tire positioned by the first positioner and a tire second portion at or adjacent to an end of the tire positioned by the second positioner to clamp side surfaces of the tire.
Actuating Apparatus for Actuating a Separating Device for a Gravitational Conveyor
A separating device for a gravity conveyor, comprising: a) a conveying plane (E) which is defined by at least two guides (20), in particular sliding guides or conveying rollers, for conveying an item (30) to be conveyed and along which the item (30) to be conveyed can be moved in a conveying direction (F); b) at least one separating stop (40) which can be moved between a position above the conveying plane (E) and a position below or flush with the conveying plane (E); c) an actuating means (50) which, in order to actuate it, comprises a first actuating member (51) and a second actuating member (52) and which is coupled to the at least one separating stop (40) in such a way that, when the actuating means (50) is actuated, a movement of the at least one separating stop (40) from the position above the conveying plane (E) to the position below or flush with the conveying plane (E) is blocked, and when the actuating means (50) is unactuated, a movement of the at least one separating stop (40) from the position above the conveying plane (E) to the position below or flush with the conveying plane (E) is enabled, d) wherein the first actuating member (51) can be moved, by conveyed items (30) being moved in the conveying direction (F), from its unactuated position in which it is situated at least partially above the conveying plane (E), to its actuated position, e) wherein the second actuating member (52) can be moved, by conveyed items (30) being moved counter to the conveying direction (F), from its unactuated position in which it is situated at least partially above the conveying plane (E), to its actuated position, f) wherein the first actuating member (51) and second actuating member (52) are optionally coupled to each other, such that moving the first actuating member (51) into its actuated position causes the second actuating member (52) to be moved into its actuated position and/or such that moving the second actuating member (52) into its actuated position causes the first actuating member (51) to be moved into its actuated position.
GROUPING STATION FOR GROUPING PALLETS
A grouping station for grouping pallets includes an inbound conveyor, which is a gravity conveyor. The grouping station includes a fixed-height pairing conveyor and a grouping conveyor with three height positions for different grouping functions.
Device and method for reliable delivery of compliant stopper elements
Device for delivery of sorted elements for feeding a downstream work station that includes a downward drop that brings the elements, a one-at-a-time processor that receives the elements from the drop, an upward conveyor branch that extends from the processor and that receives the elements therefrom, and an ejector that is located in the area of the upward conveyor branch. The device includes at least one viewing unit that is positioned to monitor the elements in the area of the processor, such as a camera.
Sheet conveying device and image forming apparatus
A sheet conveying device includes a supporting shaft, a rotating unit removable from an installation portion, a movable shaft, and an interlocking device. The rotating unit includes first and second ends, a holding member that holds a rotating body that conveys a sheet. The supporting shaft supports the rotating unit at the first end in an axial direction of the rotating body. The movable shaft is movable in the axial direction and supports the second end. The interlocking device moves the movable shaft per the rotating unit movement. Where the rotating unit is to be moved at a moving amount towards a side in which the rotating unit separates from the supporting shaft as part of removing the rotating unit from the installation portion, the interlocking device moves the movable shaft in the axial direction at a moving amount that is larger than the moving amount the rotating unit.
