GUIDE HOPPER AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING SECONDARY BATTERY INCLUDING SAME
Provided are a guide hopper and an apparatus for manufacturing secondary battery including the same. The guide hopper includes a guide space adjusted by movement of a corner member defining the guide space. The guide hopper includes a housing, in which an inner space having upper and lower portions is defined, and a variable assembly disposed in the inner space of the housing. The variable assembly includes four corner members of which bent inner sides define a guide space having a rectangular shape. The size of the guide space is adjustable by movement of the corner members in a first direction or in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
Nesting Cuttings Box System
The disclosure relates to a storage device system configured to carry cuttings from an offshore oil drilling rig to a vessel and then to shore for disposal. The system includes a set of nested boxes and lids designed to contain solids as well as some hydrocarbons. The ability to nest the boxes and lids leads to considerable reduction in space requirements relative to conventional systems. For example, according to an embodiment, each box is configured to only take up an additional 12″ in height for each nested box. As such, five nested boxes and lids only occupy a height equivalent to two stacked conventional boxes. Each box and lid is configured to serve as a closed container having hatches for filling the container with cuttings. The container is configured to withstanding pressures up to 5 psi while preventing fumes from escaping. Embodiments may have greater or fewer than five boxes.
Multiple disk loader apparatus
A multiple disk loader apparatus includes a plurality of rods. Each rod has a pair of pins extending radially from a side of the rod. The pair of pins are spaced circumferentially around the rod with respect to each other. Each pin has a top surface wherein the top surface of a first pin is longitudinally separated from the top surface of a second pin by a predetermined gap. A rotation device is coupled to the plurality of rods. The rotation device rotates the plurality of rods individually through a respective predetermined arc and in a respective rotational direction in order to extract a disk stack from storage and to separate a disk from the stack to load into a drive.
Equipment and method for moving containers
The equipment and method for moving containers herein proposed consists in a new concept for moving containers in port terminals based on the stacking of containers from the bottom to the top. Such stacking occurs by using a lifting system specifically designed for such purpose and by supporting the containers stack on fixed elevated support at a determined height from the ground.
Apparatus and method for separating individual bowls from a stack of bowls
An apparatus is provided for separating individual bowls from a stack of bowls for receiving foodstuffs. The apparatus includes a machine frame for fixing components of the apparatus, a holding device for holding the stack, a separating device for separating individual bowls from the stack, having a separating element, and a drive device. The holding device has at least one bottom carrier element that is mounted in the region of a bottom of a lowermost bowl of the stack moveably by the device such that it temporarily carries the bowl from below and can be moved away from the region of the bottom of the lowermost bowl so that the lowermost bowl can be separated from the stack in a downward direction while the stack remains in the holding device. In addition, a corresponding method is provided of separating a bowl from a stack of bowls for receiving foodstuffs.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING INDIVIDUAL BOWLS FROM A STACK OF BOWLS

TRANSPORT DEVICE AND ROBOT INCLUDING SAME
A transport device includes: a device frame; a first stage unit placed in the device frame to be movable in a vertical direction; a second stage unit placed in the first stage unit to be movable in a vertical direction; and a pusher unit placed in the first stage unit, and provided to discharge a transport object outward, wherein the transport object includes a first transport object and a second transport object stacked on the first transport object, and wherein while the pusher unit discharges the first transport object, the second stage unit supports the second transport object, and after the pusher unit discharges the first transport object, the second stage unit causes the second transport object to be mounted on the pusher unit.
Method and apparatus for gently depositing trays
A method for operating a tray conveying apparatus, wherein a tray edge of a tray to be destacked is guided in contact with and along a support until the tray has been deposited on a conveying unit positioned therebelow. An apparatus for destacking and further conveying trays that may comprise a destacker for destacking trays, wherein the destacker may also comprise a frame for accommodating at least one tray stack and a plurality of destacking screws configured to be operated in a respective direction of rotation. Each destacking screw may comprise a helically configured spiral or groove with a support. A conveying unit may be positioned below the destacker and used for receiving and transporting the destacked trays from the destacker.
ROBOT AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
A robot (11) of the present invention includes: a first arm (13A); and a controller configured to control operation of the first arm. The first arm includes a first hand (18) at a distal end thereof, the first hand including a first gripper (22) for gripping a container (42) and a second gripper (23) for gripping a discharger (32). The controller is configured to control the first arm to: grip the discharger by the second gripper; then, grip and obtain the container from a container provider (19) and place the obtained container on a conveying body (51) at a container placing position on a moving path of the conveying body by the first gripper; and at a food/drink material filling position downstream of the container placing position on the moving path of the conveying body, cause the discharger gripped by the second gripper to discharge a food/drink material into the container to fill the container with the food/drink material.
