Method and apparatus for preparing edges of reels of web material
A method and apparatus for preparing edges of reels of web material, where a reel is held with its axis horizontal; a manipulator applies a first adhesive element on an outer surface of the reel; a gripping member picks up the first adhesive element and forms a loop; and a cutting device transversely cuts the web material at the loop. A section of web material with a length equal to or greater than a circumference of the reel is unwound from the reel; a second adhesive element is applied on an outer surface or on an inner surface of the web material; and a scrap portion of the web material is cut and discarded by a suction device.
Accumulator for processing line and method of using same
A processing line processes logs of convolutely wound web material and has upstream and downstream sections. A main accumulator has buckets that receive, hold, and release logs. An input feeder receives logs from the upstream section and conveys them to a bucket of main accumulator. A loader has a loader accumulator and loader buckets that receive, hold, and release logs. A transfer conveyor between the main accumulator and the loader receives a log from the main accumulator bucket and conveys the log a loader bucket independently of the input feeder. The loader receives a log from the transfer conveyor. The loader conveys the log in the loader bucket to a discharge of the loader. The loader discharge discharges the log from the loader bucket to the downstream section of the processing line.

Automatic Transfer Supply Equipment for Roll-Type Material
An automatic conveying and feeding facility for roll-type materials. The automatic conveying and feeding facility includes: a roll buffer, a transfer apparatus, and an overhead hoist transport. The roll buffer configured to receive a roll-type material loaded on a carriage in an X-axis direction and convey the received roll-type material on a YZ plane. The transfer apparatus configured to receive the roll-type material from the roll buffer in the X-axis direction, move to a set position on an XY plane in a state in which the roll-type material is loaded thereon, and convey the roll-type material upward in a Z-axis direction. The overhead hoist transport (OHT) configured to receive the roll-type material loaded on the transfer apparatus that has moved upward in the Z-axis direction and having at least one or more rail guided vehicles configured to move to a destination along a trajectory of a conveying rail.
SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND RECORDING APPARATUS
Disclosed is a sheet feeding device for feeding a sheet from a roll sheet, including: a holder portion that rotatably supports the roll sheet around which the sheet to be fed is wound; a guide portion that guides the roll sheet to the holder portion; a rear member that is included in the guide portion and projects from the holder portion in a projection direction; and a front member that is included in the guide portion and is connected to the rear member to be capable of projecting from the rear member in the projection direction. The front member is configured to be movable in the projection direction with respect to the rear member.
BELTING INSTALLATION SYSTEM
A system for loading belting so that it can be unrolled in the vertical position. The system includes a frame having a cradle, a reel assembly situated within the cradle, and a roller assembly connected to a pair of orientation assemblies attached to the frame. The orientation assemblies may be oriented in any angle 0 to 360 degrees relative to the frame so that belting can be dispensed in many directions. The roller assembly may also be inverted so that belting may be dispensed in alternate orientations. A fulcrum table may be used within the system to help prepare the reel assembly and transport it onto the frame.
Automatic roll replacing device, and winding equipment
Disclosed in the present application are an automatic roll replacing device, and winding equipment. The automatic roll replacing device includes: a mounting frame; an unwinding mechanism, including an unwinding shaft rotatably connected to the mounting frame around its own axis; a spare material mechanism, including a spare material shaft having a contact end and a material pushing member providing an axial pushing force for a spare material roll on the spare material shaft, the spare material shaft being rotatably connected to the mounting frame around the rotation axis, and the material pushing member being controlled to push the spare material roll on the spare material shaft to transfer to the unwinding shaft; and a strip connection mechanism, provided on the mounting frame, and used for cutting off a work material strip unwound from the unwinding shaft and connecting the cut-off work material strip to the spare material roll.
