A reel attaching/detaching device that attaches/detaches a reel on which a tape accommodating a component is wound to and from a feeder which feeds out the tape by a drive of a feed-out section and supplies the component, the device includes a feeder set unit configured to be set in a predetermined orientation when the feeder supplies the component, a reel set unit configured to be set in a predetermined orientation when the reel supplies the component, a transfer robot configured to transfer the reel between the feeder set unit and the reel set unit while holding a orientation of the reel, and a control device configured to control the transfer robot so that the reel is detached from the reel set unit and the reel is attached to the feeder set in the feeder set unit, when the reel is set in the reel set unit.
REWINDING APPARATUS AND REWINDING METHOD
This application discloses a rewinding apparatus and a rewinding method. The rewinding apparatus is configured to rewind a strip. The rewinding apparatus includes a rewinding mechanism and a switching mechanism. The rewinding mechanism includes two shafts that are opposite to each other along a first direction and spaced out. The two shafts are configured to rewind the strip along different conveyance paths separately. The switching mechanism includes a moving roller. The moving roller is configured to drive the strip to switch from one shaft to another shaft so that the strip switches from one conveyance path to another conveyance path. The rewinding apparatus and rewinding method disclosed in this application achieve high space efficiency and high switching efficiency.

A film-roll supply device improves replacement of a film roll in a bag-making and packaging machine. A film roll replacement device supplies a first film roll to a bag-making and packaging machine. The film roll replacement device is provided with a holding section and a first driving unit. The holding section receives the first film roll to be supplied to the bag-making and packaging machine. The first driving unit changes an orientation of the holding section between a first orientation used when receiving the first film roll and a second orientation used when supplying the first film roll to the bag-making and packaging machine.

Methods and systems for processing films in packaging machines
Systems and methods for connecting the films of a first roll and a second roll in a packaging machine. The system includes a cutting device to cut the film of a first roll at a cutting position upstream side of a holding position with respect to a feeding direction toward a former while the film is held by a holding device. The system also includes a robot to move the second roll to a connecting position where a leading end of second roll film overlaps with a film terminal end of the first roll film. The system further includes a connecting device to connect the film leading end of the second roll film to the film terminal end of the first roll film. The robot to move the second roll from the connecting position to a set position after connecting the films, so that the second roll film is tensioned.
MOBILE ROBOT AND METHOD FOR CHANGING LABEL ROLLS ON A LABELING ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a mobile robot, to a supply system, and to a method for changing label rolls on a labeling assembly for labeling containers. The mobile robot accordingly comprises a vehicle unit for changing locations of the robot and a manipulator unit with a multi-axle manipulator and an associated end effector for manipulating label rolls. Because the end effector is designed to grip the outer circumference of the label rolls and emptied roll cores of label rolls so as to carry them, ergonomically problematic work steps when introducing label rolls can be accomplished exclusively by machine with a high degree of precision and in a material-saving manner.
