Sleeve, Winding Device, and Method for Repeated, Successive Winding of Webs to Form Reels of Material
The invention describes a sleeve for sliding onto and removing from a winding shaft, which comprises a one-piece workpiece defining a cylinder, which workpiece comprises two edge regions each having an edge, the edge regions overlapping one another, the sleeve having a first diameter in a relaxed state, the sleeve in a clamped state having a second diameter which is different from the first diameter, the sleeve in the clamped state experiencing an elastic deformation as compared to the relaxed state.
Mandrel for holding and aligning film supply rolls
A mandrel includes a shaft that can hold a supply roll of film. A primary button and one or more secondary buttons are located on the shaft. The primary button and the one or more secondary buttons are biased toward an extended position and are capable of moving to a retracted position. The primary button and the one or more secondary buttons retract to the retracted position during at least a portion of loading the supply roll of film onto the shaft. The retraction of the primary button to the retracted position causes retraction of the one or more secondary buttons to the retracted position. When the supply roll of film is in an aligned position on the shaft, the supply roll of film is maintained in the aligned position in part by one of the primary button and the one or more secondary buttons in the extended position.

Spindle for paper rolls
A spindle assembly for supporting a roll of paper product is disclosed with features that make the spindle versatile and useable for supporting paper product rolls in a plurality of styles of dispensers. The spindle assembly also includes features that assist in maintaining the supported paper rolls in a desired orientation, such as horizontally in a vertically oriented dispenser. This resists skewing of the rolls in the dispenser and facilitates the separation of the rolls as paper is used from a lower roll in a dispenser. Also, brake members are provided to engage the core of a supported roll of paper to slow down the rotation of the roll of paper when pulled upon by a user.
METHOD OF PRODUCING A FABRIC ROLL AND ROLL THUS MADE
A fabric roll is produced by winding a fabric (4) around at least two reels, that are coaxially aligned, spaced from each other, and have a total length (L) that is less than the width (Wr) of said fabric roll (11).
Core box
A core box with interchangeable rails for holding a variety of sizes of cores.

Apparatus and method for manufacturing absorbent articles
An apparatus and method for loading material may utilize an unwind apparatus and a loading apparatus. The unwind apparatus may include a frame and a mandrel. The mandrel may be adapted to receive a spool including a core and a strand of material. The mandrel may be associated with a mandrel support member, which provides support. The loading apparatus includes a base member and a loading shaft having a proximal end portion and a distal end portion. The proximal end portion may be connected with the base member and the distal end portion may be configured to engage the mandrel. The loading shaft may support a replacement spool including a core and a strand of material wound around the core. When the loading shaft is engaged with the mandrel, the core of the replacement spool is movable from the loading shaft to the mandrel.
Automatic roll replacing device, and winding equipment
Disclosed in the present application are an automatic roll replacing device, and winding equipment. The automatic roll replacing device includes: a mounting frame; an unwinding mechanism, including an unwinding shaft rotatably connected to the mounting frame around its own axis; a spare material mechanism, including a spare material shaft having a contact end and a material pushing member providing an axial pushing force for a spare material roll on the spare material shaft, the spare material shaft being rotatably connected to the mounting frame around the rotation axis, and the material pushing member being controlled to push the spare material roll on the spare material shaft to transfer to the unwinding shaft; and a strip connection mechanism, provided on the mounting frame, and used for cutting off a work material strip unwound from the unwinding shaft and connecting the cut-off work material strip to the spare material roll.
