Line handling device for letting out, winding up, and locking a line
A line-handling device is for letting out, winding up and locking a line. The line-handling device has: a first handle; a substantially flat reel which is rotatable relative to the first handle; a line-guiding part which is fixed relative to the first handle; a locking mechanism for locking the reel in a non-rotatable position; and an attachment element for a tautening device, the reel being displaceable relative to the first handle parallel to the rotational axis of the reel. A line-handling system is for suspending a line between two anchoring points and a method is for suspending a line between two anchoring points.
SPLICE HEAD FOR A SPLICER, SPLICE DEVICE HAVING AT LEAST ONE SPLICE HEAD, METHOD FOR SPLICING YARN USING A SPLICE HEAD, COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A splicing head (100) for a splicing device comprising a splicing chamber and a clamping device (8) for clamping yarns. The clamping device (8) is disposed between two sections (4) of the splicing chamber. The clamping device (8) is arranged independently operable on the splicing head (100), so that the clamping device (8) is operable before and/or after closing the splicing chamber. The splicing head (100) comprises at least one drawing-in element for ensuring that the yarn ends are included in the splicing process, in particular for drawing the yarn ends into the splicing chamber.

Clamp for inserting a flexurally elastic strand into a receptacle intended to receive the strand via an opening
A clamp for inserting an elastic strand into an opening of a receptacle. The clamp includes a longitudinal housing capable of housing a segment of the strand and through which the strand may slide. The clamp further includes: a blocking element including a first portion of the housing, the blocking element deforming a first portion of the housed segment when an external pressure is applied to the blocking element, the elastic force of the strand returning the first portion of the segment to its initial shape when the external pressure is no longer applied, the sliding of the strand being blocked by the bending deformation of the first portion of the housed segment; a guide including a second portion of the housing, the guide at least partially surrounding a second portion of the housed segment, and configured to guide the clamp in the direction of the opening in the receptacle.
Apparatus for feeding a plurality of threads
An apparatus feeds a plurality of threads to rotating godets of a melt spinning machine including a manual injector (e.g., a main manual injector) and a cutting device. In order to be able to selectively feed the threads individually or as a bunch, a transfer device and a second manual injector (e.g., an auxiliary manual injector) are associated with the manual injector.
Splice head for a splicer, splice device having at least one splice head, method for splicing yarn using a splice head, computer program product

A Fibre Splicer and Method For Splicing Fibres
A fibre splicer (1) is disclosed that includes a splicing chamber (2) for receiving fibres to be spliced having an opening of in a side thereof, a chamber pad (3) for selectively sealing the opening of the splicing chamber (2) and a valve (9). The valve (9) has an unobstructed fluid pathway there-through, the valve (9) extending from the chamber (2) and being reconfigurable between a first configuration prohibiting fluid flow along the pathway and a second configuration permitting fluid flow along the pathway.
