The wire mesh dispenser (99) allows an individual to unroll wire mesh (91) from a wire mesh roll (90) in tight, hard to reach spaces such as corners, narrow alleyways, and high reach areas. The wire mesh dispenser (99) is especially suited for the preparation of stucco based structures in construction projects. The wire mesh dispenser (99) comprises of an upper structure (100), a lower structure (200), and a means to fasten shafts (400).

A brake is provided for an idler roll (10) of a fiber web machine, in particular of a slitter-winder, which idler roll (10) has an outer shell surface (13). The brake (20) is located outside the outer shell surface (13) of the idler roll (10) in close vicinity of the idler roll (10) in a non-contacting position. In one example, a festoon system comprises a festoon module having a support assembly, and further comprises at least one upper sheave and at least one lower sheave, which are movable relative to one another by movement of at least one of the upper sheave or the lower sheave. At least one wire is configured to enter the festoon module at an entrance region, extend around a groove of the least one lower sheave and at least one groove of the at least one upper sheave, and then exit the festoon module at an exit region. An apparatus to launch, retrieve, and store a recreational floating mat is described.
